I had a gap between the faucet and the wall that I wanted to seal to prevent water from getting into the wall. I used this caulk tape cut in half to seal the area and then use some clear silicone caulk to ensure the seal was waterproof against the wall. It covered the 1/4 inch gap and looks nice. Easy to trim to the size needed. Adheres well. Simple to use.

You have to be careful during application that the tape doesn't rip. I was using the included spatula to push it in to the corner between the floor and the tub and it poked right through. Luckily, there was enough tape included to redo it. The best way to apply is to fold it in half and then push the folded edge as far into the edge of the tub/floor as it will go. Only take a little bit of the backing tape off at a time. Then I smoothed it out with the spatula while warming it with the blow dryer. It looks clean and nice, and for 6 or 7 dollars it's an easy apartment upgrade.

It seemed to be a high quality item and I appreciated the length amount given, I have some extra after applying to the toilet however I can not say that it holds for very long. I cleaned around the entire base and dried completely prior to applying it I also made sure not to get the floor wet for a day and checked for condensation build up around it, and less than 24 hours after applying it, it is coming off in multiple locations, it started last night with just one bubble that wouldn’t stick despite me holding it down for an extended period of time as well as using the smoothing tool that it came with and some tools I had at home already and that one spot is now about 10 spots, very disappointing

You are better off actually caulking it yourself. I tried using this on my toilet and around my tub.. Didn’t hold what’s so ever.
