This black-out sheet with velcro attachments was so easy to use. I used it on a wide window which has two panes, one side that slides (left to right) over the other. One can easily slide over the other window, even with this black-out sheet attached. Yay! We can also pull it back from the window pane to let light in when we need to! Love it!! So much better than the previous ones we've used that peal and stick to the window but start to lose their adhesion. One hint -- purchase a larger size that you think you'll need. I cut it just fine to get to the edge of the glass, but had enough extra to re-do it and cut a larger one that extended over the glass onto the frame, which let no light in whatsoever! ... show more

Calling them curtains is a bit pushing it. Well in my opinion. They are more like vinyl cloth. It does what it does and is a temporary fix for me. They cut easily and the Velcro works well. I got white to match my windows and the other side is silver. Not as silver as foil so people wont think I live in a crack house…I mean they won’t think I’m hiding anything. Jokes aside… get it if you want to block the light and want something that can easily be removed and put back. The wrinkles or creases can also be fixed with light ironing. ... show more

I like to have my room dark when I sleep but it has become even more necessary since the guy behind me has the world's brightest porch light. I got this to not only keep the dark out but it is also reflective to keep the heat out which keeps the room cooler. Bonus! It is a little tricky to cut these if there are blinds in the way and on one window I was a little bit short so there's a sliver of light coming through the top but that actually works in my favor because it provides just the softest light to be able to see if I get up to go to the restroom. ... show more

Big enough to fit my 30x70 window snugly. Blocks out all light and makes even the sunny days in Florida feel darker than night time. But even that doesn't compare to how it affects the temperature. Keeps my room nice and cool, making it a lot easier to sleep. Would recommend to anyone working night shift like me who has a giant window in their room. ... show more

Have guests for the summer and room they’re in has glass in the door. To help their privacy got these. Nothing fancy here. Straight up blackout material that effectively does its job. Works great! The creases don’t come out, and for us, that’s fine. I think the fabric could handle a light ironing (protected by a towel or fabric) if we had really wanted no creases though. Also added these to long windows in kiddo’s room. Flipped black out since I don’t care about heat protection and the black looks nicer when looking from outside (and in the room the blinds cover silver) photo shows the window with blind and you can see the part with and without blackout (done purposely). You do have to cut to fit. Happy customer ... show more

Installation was super easy. I love that you can cut it to fit your window and it completely blacks out my baby’s room for sleeping. I’ve taken it up and down a few times to let light in for changing and play time and the Velcro still seems to be holding up!

This isn't a curtain but a sturdy type of fabric you cut and Velcro to your window frame. If you want total blackout you'll need to put Velcro all around the edges or the light will leak through the gaps.
