PVC: It was cheaper than other shelves, so I thought I was getting a major sale. Yeah, I didn't read, ha! It's made of PVC -- plastic. It is fine, just unexpected. Particle board vs PVC? Not a big deal. This is easier to clean, and will probably hold up better! EASY to put together. The hardest part was defining the items. It comes broken in half, for shorter packaging. They send stickers to put the numbers on, LOL. It would have helped if they'd done it for me! (I skipped the sticker part.) I think it took me 20-30 min, but I was splitting my focus. They even sent a tiny screwdriver, ha! It's all "snap" together, with only 12 screws or so. The door handle is... um... schmaltzy. My husband won't like it, but he probably won't notice it! Altogether, I'm satisfied. I'd most likely buy it again.

STYROFOAM!!! Yes, this product is mad of Styrofoam sandwiched by two thin layers of PVC. Not to mention that it is off white and not really white as pictured. I am returning. I'm not paying nearly $40 for Styrofoam.

If I had i might have passed on these. Over all I love them! They were easy to put together (faster with a drill, just dont overdrill) and they look great in my tiny bathroom. Was I expecting wood? Yes, but I'm not mad at them being plastic as they're in the bathroom so it's probably for the better. As you can see they hold way more than 2 rolls. Easy enough to figure out how to install the door on either side too! Are they worth the $? Probably not to most (maybe 2 for what 1 costs would be) but they're cute and functional and solved a storage issue for me so I guess their worth depends on your perspective. Overall I am happy with them!

This is awful! It comes in 12 pieces that look like a puzzle. The item is made of some very flimsy plastic looking material. The screws you are given to secure the puzzle pieces together can be put in via your fingers. This lasted 3 days then broke. Dont waste your money!

This little store unit serves it purpose for our household (and the price). While on the smaller side, I was tired of our son's books and school supplis being on the end of the kitchen table. Everything he really uses daily fits within. Some need to knows: It is not a wooden material. So, do not use power tools when assembling. You can over-tighten and crack the material. See photo (this was even using a traditional Phillips screwdriver). Use the stickers they provide to assemble. There are no stickers on the pieces and they can quickly be put in the wrong place. Assembly only took about 20 minutes and most of that was adding/tightening the 18 screws. Because of the material, I would not put in areas that it can be knocked over and bumped into. The material will dent. I was not a fan of the doorknob. I sprayed ours with some chalkboard spray paint we had on-hand and it looks so much better. All in all, perfect little add for our little one's school supplies and frequently read books.

The good: Its easy to assemble, easy to take apart if you make a mistake and have to go back and swap pieces around. Nicest part was the door knob. The bad: Its really cheaply made, with sparse instructions, i have concern about how long i will last The ugly: The tabs show thru the top and sides. Really a bad look on the top, covering it with shelf liner or any kind of cloth helps. It was odd that they included a sheet of stick on numbers so you could self number the pieces before you put it together. After I figure out what a piece is for , i dont need a number to remind me. For my application I only see the front and top. Worth $43, but not a penny more.
