The freezer in the unit I'm renting doesn't make ice. I tried doing the old fashion tray method but I'm lazy. Thought these might be a good alternative and I was half right? They stay cold for a long time and if you use them in conjunction with an already cold beverage, they're awesome. However, I poured warm beer into a class and used these and...well, it didn't get as cold as I would've liked. The coldness seems to stay around the cubes as opposed to spreading through the drink. Maybe that's how they're designed and I missed that detail, who knows. ... show more
