I read a TON of reviews after I bought it, so I had some expectations... 1st) It was carefully shipped. It came in a second packaging box, and the box itself was wrapped in bubble wrap. It also came with a greeting card and a brown paper bag - that is does actually fit into! 2nd) The box is BEAUTIFUL. There were no scratches, scrapes, dents or cracks; The latch is very easy to open and close. 3rd) The "whiskey stones" are shiny, lightweight, and they're not scratched or dented. They even have a small bag for storage and a set of tongs. 4th) Ahhh yes, the coasters. I expected them to come in the cups. They're a little bent, but they come wrapped in plastic so at least they're not dirty. I'm not too concerned with them though. 5th) The glasses were well protected by the velvet inlay of the box and the foam protection. They're lightweight, sturdy, and even though they're not crystal clear like the advertising image, they're beautiful in a sophisticated sense. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband, and I hope he loves it as much as I do. If not, well then at least I have a new set to enjoy. ... show more

This is a really nice set. It looks high quality. I love the stone ice cubes, they keep my drinks from getting watered down with regular ice cubes. The wood box is a nice way to keep the set put away for the next use. It is a good value for the quality, items included and price of this set.
