This mat isn’t going to win you a spot on fine home decorating. It’s as plain as can be—probably a better fit for a workshop than a kitchen. It’s also a little small and better suited for a spot where you will be relatively stationary—again, like standing before a drill press more than a stove. What it does do really right is create a balance between cushioning and support. That’s a very important balance to achieve. Too soft and you shift around on it, too much stability and there is no point in having the mat. Particularly for a heavier adult, the balance is good. Another thing it does right, is provide a nonslip surface—spill some dishwater on this and you won’t create a slip n slide. Finally the surface skin looks to be durable, and should hold up well to normal wear and tear. In other words, it does just what an anti fatigue mat should do.

This kitchen mat is a nice length and thick. I like the anti-slip grips. The mat stays in place. Makes the floor feel more comfortable.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a simple, comfy mat for the base of our kitchen sink. This is one has a great cushion and doesn’t slide around. Comes with adhesive anti-slip grips but I haven’t found the need for them and don’t feel like sticking it to the floor in case I ever want to move it. Makes doing dishes just a bit more tolerable! I took off a star because it has an unsightly crease in the middle that hasn’t gone away since I unrolled it a week ago.

This mat is like standing on a cloud! I am one of those people that, once I am in the house, prefer to go barefoot or just wear a light pair of socks. Standing to prep, cook, or do dishes for long periods can result in some foot, leg, and back pain. This mat solves that problem - it is so comforting! It does have a few creases in it from being in transit, but I am sure they will resolve over time. I was nervous about the mat being 3/4” thick – thinking that it could easily be tripped on, but it lays nice and flat on the floor and the beveled edge helps. I like the fact that it is a plain color so that it doesn't interfere with the décor, and that it wipes up easily if a spill occurs. There are a lot of anti-fatigue mats out there, but this one is a keeper!

Anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet on hardwood, cement or even linoleum knows the pain that comes after - in the feet, the legs and the back. Cooking in the kitchen often means long periods of time standing as we cut, chop, dice, and otherwise prepare meals for our families. It's a labor of love but we could do without the body pain after. This floor mat offers immediate resolution. It's thick and "gives" when I step on it. I'm not a light guy so it is especially important for me. It's about the width of an appliance so I put it in front of the counter at which I do the most work. The beveled edge does indeed prevent most of my tripping (it can't solve everything, I'm a bit of a klutz). The one I received is plain black so I didn't have to worry whether or not it would fit into the kitchen color scheme....it stands out a bit but it does exactly what I hoped it would do...reduce stress on my body. I like this a lot!

Long, long ago.. I would dread doing dishes when I am asked to, and as I sat and browsed the Amazon. I have found this item, an anti-fatigue mat. I never dread no more! I have found a way to make dish washing so much more enjoyable! I now volunteer myself to do dishes, because this mat so comforting! It is very firm and easy on the feet, it comes with 12 anti-slip pads underneath, we all know if water isn’t everywhere than your dishes are not clean! So we don’t want you slipping and missing out on cleaning those big family dinners! I give it a 5 star review, it is what it says it is, packaging came pre-rolled, so you may need to flatten it out a bit. I place it underneath our decorative rug in the kitchen, I am pleased with this purchase!

Looks great in my kitchen, fits the space perfectly, and is very comfortable to stand on while doing dishes. I did not use the adhesives that it came with because they felt quite sticky, but have had absolutely no issues with it sliding around even without them. I love the fact that it’s also waterproof and easy to clean. This mat is a great value for what you get!
