So comfortable. Not so squishy that you sink into it and not too stiff. We are actually using the wheel chair with cushion as a extra chair for care givers because it it so comfortable.It added the right amount of height to the wheelchair as well. VERY pleased!!

It is very co.fortable and helps with pressure spots. The back stays where it should . What I sisnt like is the cushion that gets sat on only has 1 single strap to keep it in place and nothing to keep it from slipping left to right or further back. This is the 1st cushion for a wheelchair I have tried so I do not kniw if having a strap is typical or there is a need for multiple. ... show more

At six foot, 235lbs, and need for comfort, the people at CUSHIO got this Wheelchair or in my case, office chair cushion right. Again, for my disposition, said GEL cushions, together are simply a Godsend to offset the pressure and give relief to my back. You may want to use my description on making your decision. We have a friend, that pushes over 300 lbs., and he asked to sit in said chair. I asked him to wait. Knowing my office chair was not up for replacement, I put the cushion on a church pew. He sat on both, seat/lumbar cushions. Let me put it this way.... Yes, they both compressed about 3/4th of the cushion's depth, and they did recoup from the extreme compression, that took about three minutes to come back to life, however, not a good fit for said approximate weight. The 18”x16” anti-slip seat GEL cushion, with the lumbar pillow is exactly what I hoped for, especially, after my back injury from 1989, that the pain has come back with a vengeance. Yes, it comes with all straps advertised. However, for our office chair, the built-in removable straps are all we needed for our purpose. The only competition since I placed the cushions on my office chair are my two Siamese. Either one or the other, will be found on said chair at almost any time. Thus, we decided to cover both cushions for protection, especially, knowing the construction is part GEL. Again, I am completely satisfied with said cushions; the comfort, construction and esthetics they provide is a must have. My only challenge is having the heart to move the Siamese from my chair, when I'm in real need. Remember, it's X's 2. Questions, please ask. I just recently had to start using a wheelchair outside of my home for trips to the doctors & the store. I have found out how uncomfortable sitting in a wheelchair can be. Some people have said that it’s my size, they say I’m small, I don’t think that I am. I am 5’4” tall & 165 - 170 lbs, to me that is average size. Anyway, if it’s uncomfortable for me I can’t imagine how it is for people that have to be in a wheelchair for the majority of the day. Therefore, I highly recommend this product, it helped my rear end from going numb in my wheelchair & from having the sharp pains in my hips. Used this for a family member who is currently disabled in a wheel chair for several months now and has been complaining about stiffness with their daily wheelchair. Multiple chairs have been used and nothing seemed to fit the comfort until this product came around my viewing options on amazon. Gave it a shot and applied it to the wheel chair. Within a few hours, the feedback of relief was greatly achieved. I am told there is no more stiffness and the cushion greatly assists with the back as well as this is a two piece set consisting of a bottom base and back support.
