This is the one you want. I use this for my office chair. I don't know if you have had to buy a new office chair in the last 5 years but they certainly don't make them like they used too, no matter how much you pay for one. Bought this for my husband‘s recliner because it was losing its firmness. I had bought him a gel cushion, but it literally wore out. Although this cushion is expensive, it is so worth it. The inner Springs keep it from collapsing. The cushioning around the springs keep it comfortable. He’s been using this cushion for almost a year now and it’s still the same, and very comfortable. His back is much better because of this cushion.

I am 6'10" and weigh 270 lbs. I bought about every wheel chair cushion and booster seat cushion that had any decent rating on Amazon that was reasonably priced. (some were over $400.00, I'll let them keep those) This is the best one of the under $100.00 range I have found. I gives good support and helps greatly when I get out of my wheel chair. I use this one and one that's 3" made equally as well by another company. The 3" is square and flat they work so well together

Bought this for my father - in - laws wheelchair. fits perfectly and he said it makes it sooo much more comfortable. It has held up well too. Definitely made it easier to get in wheelchair too because it isn't as far to go when you sit down.

There are a lot of things that work about this cushion: the supportive springs, the washable material that zips on and off, the handle, the support. All of that is great and I can see how this would help alleviate lower back pain for a lot of people who use mobility scooters. The problem is the molded impressions where you sit. This feature makes the whole cushion almost unusable, unfortunately, because you have to have a butt and hips to fit it. If you're bigger boned, chubby, phat, fat or obese, this is not gonna work. Hear that! Trust me, I tried. You end up sitting on the raised impressions and it's very uncomfortable. I've started sitting on it on the other side and while it did have a break-in period, it's beginning to get fairly comfortable. Still, it's better than the foam ones!

I bought this for long haul flights to Asia. Every time I fly overseas, I have to sit 14 hours or more on a flight and my rear is always sore. I’ve tried other cushions and this is the first one it actually saved me a lot of agony.
