I’ve been debating whether to keep or return this. After much consideration, I’m keeping it because the truth is it’s as good as it gets at this price point & there no such thing as an affordable cushion that would meet my needs anywhere in existence. I’ve got almost no muscle mass on my glutes, in addition to having arthritis in my ischial tuberosity aka “sit bones” (who knew such a thing could even happen!?!), so sitting on ANY type of surface is very painful to me. If I could afford a ROHO, I would buy one without hesitation because they are magnificent. I once cared for a quadriplegic who had a ROHO and I will never forget how amazing it felt to sit on! Anyway, MOST of you are probably not hurting as badly as I am, so I believe you’ll probably be very happy with this cushion. For any unfortunate saps who suffer like me: The only tip I have for you is to keep a bunch of re-usable ice packs in the freezer, frequently rotating them out to sit on. The waterproof fabric seems to no longer be waterproof after washing allowing diaper leaks to soak into the foam rubber pad. The pad does soak up the urine very well, but is very difficult to clean as it does not want to released the water and soap used for cleaning.
