  • Classic
I havent' finished the book yet, about 75% through. But I'm on a roll reviewing products I recently purchased, and I feel like I'm ready to give an opinion on this book. It deserves its reputation as a classic on business. I've already implemented some of the ideas into my own business. I rank it up there with "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and "Persuasion" as having just some great "how to succeed in life" knowledge that is broadly applicable to wide range of situations and should be essential reading to any person who wants to succeed. ... show more

  • full of useful anecdotes and just overall
Read this a decade ago, lost my hard cover book, and bought it on Kindle again this week. Despited some dated references (typewriters and such), it's still incredibly insightful, full of useful anecdotes and just overall, excellently written ... it's recommended reading for every manager or business owner. A classic. ... show more

  • Useful in general but a bit boring to read.
Very useful advices but reading it is a bit boring. Last chapter about entrepreneurship is very well writing. Still a good read though.

  • Informative
This book was suggested by a former co - worker. Having browsed a handful of pages of her copy, I proceeded to purchase my own copy. This book provides me with precisely the kind of guidance I have been looking for when it comes to people and situations. I look forward to finding other such similar books. I have also purchased "Never Wrestle With a Pig". Formal education gives you the basics of a skill and does not equip you with the necessary skills for survival in the world beyond formal education. ... show more

  • Outstanding Older Read on Leadership
Really worth reading. Although old by some standards today, the author was a genius in developing representation for many particularly athletes. I highly enjoyed and highly recommend. Thank you.

  • Classic Book, timeless advise!
Classic book, timeless advice! This was like getting reacquainted with an old friend; I had read this book 30 years ago when it was first published. Mark McCormack is gone now, but he lives on in this great testimony to successful business thinking.

  • Used book exactly as described....
I first read this book 35 years ago and lost my copy. Mark McCormak provides a practical perspective about how to interact with people in the business world. People buy from people. Great book.
