I have been wanting to make a plaid quilt for a long time, but plaid scraps are a rarity at my thrift store where I usually find cheap quilting scraps. I don't even like the color orange but I figure with this fabric mixed in with the other plaids that I have for the quilt it shouldn't be too bad. As I went through the 12 10"square pieces I realized that the fabric wasn't cut on grain and the plaid was printed onto the cloth. Some quilters will use their stripes and plaids regardless of how the real grainline is. When I use stripes and plaids in a quilt I want them to look right. So instead of making my usual 2 x 4 pre-cuts, I plan on squaring up the fabric before cutting it. I'm not sure yet what type of blocks I will want to use. These would be perfect for an autumn quilt showing the color on the trees. Last week the trees looked perfect, but after a rainy weekend most of the trees lost their leaves and now it looks like we are ready for our first snow although it is hot enough today that I have the fans going. So I have already lost the chance of getting inspiration for the quilt from the trees. Nevertheless, I appreciate the opportunity to try out this fabric. Thank you. ... show more

Fabric colors are as described. Product arrived quickly. Feels nasty, not like cotton at all, and is just about see through it's so thin. Quality VERY POOR. I'm returning it. I can't use this for anything. Worse than the cheapest on sale JoAnns fabric, but twice the price.

I ordered a bundle of various fall fabric pieces. Instead, I received 1 large piece of fabric. I don’t have time to return and reorder so I will make do with what was sent. This one fabric is lovely, but not what was intended. Also, the website link for customer support did not work.
