  • Truly satisfying results from a remarkable cleaning product for an old-timer
Scent: Vanilla Size: 64 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I am an 80-year-old male with gradually decreasing flexibility, especially for cleaning my bathtub/shower. I bought Wet and Forget Shower solution to transform what was for me a very challenging task into something I could comfortable live with. I had high expectations based on Amazon reviews, but it sounded too good to be true, anyway. It wasn't! From what I read about the product, I realized that removing the product from the shower walls and tub would require some volume of water, and my shower head would in no way suffice. I looked at Amazon shower head offerings and purchased the highly flexible Cobbe product. The Cobbe shower head/sprayer was extremely easy to install, in spite of my initial instinct to make it more difficult than it turned out to be, based on years of household plumbing experiences. I removed old Teflon tape and applied new to the water supply spout extending from the wall. I then threaded and manually tightened each connection, per included installation instructions. After tightening each joint as much as I could by hand, the ball adjustment for the final angle of the spray head remained fully flexible. With some trepidation, I turned on the water supply and looked for the inevitable small leaks on one of more of the joints. There were none! I waited a few moments and opened the shower head to spray some water, and all was well. I turned it back off. Still no leaks. I then opened the convenient sprayer control and obtained a strong spray, ideal for cleaning the tub and shower walls. Excellent results from Cobbe! After taking a shower with the new Cobbe shower head, I then applied the Wet and Forget Shower solution with the provided spray applicator. My tub and tiled shower walls were pretty nasty after months of neglect, and prior reviews warned that it might take multiple applications/removals to get things clean. After allowing the product to sit idle for 8 hours, per instructions, I used the Cobbe sprayer with hot water to remove the Wet and Forget from the walls and tub. The strong, hot spray quickly did a far better than expected job of removing the assorted soap scum and whatever black and orange junk that was scattered here and there around the tub. The stuff streamed off the walls and tub sides and down the drain. It took almost no time for this to take place. Due to the extremely nasty condition that was presented for cleaning, the initial application/removal was not perfect. I estimate that about 10-15% remained here and there in the grout between tiles and in corner joints. Overall appearance was markedly improved, but not perfect, so I kept going. I applied another dose of Wet and Forget to the remaining dirty areas and let them sit for about 11 hours, from morning to evening. I repeated the hot spray removal process and most of the residual grime washed away immediately. There remained about 5% of what I started with, so I went thru the process again. After another 9 hours, I sprayed again and almost everything was gone. I attacked the few stubborn areas with a toothbrush for about 3-4 minutes and sprayed hot water again. There remain a few light stains in a corner joint, but the rest of the tub and shower are clean as a whistle. I am absolutely delighted with the results and will now begin using the Wet and Forget product once a week, as suggested on the product container. For you younger users using the product on less neglected tubs/showers, I have no doubt that your results will be even more immediate and satisfying. ... show more

  • This stuff actually works as it says it does.
Scent: Fresh Size: 64 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
First off, I was skeptical. There’s no way I can just spray this stuff on my shower or toilet, leave it overnight and then spray it off in the morning and my bathroom would be clean. I was wrong. This stuff is magic in a bottle. This arrived Friday afternoon, I sprayed down my shower before I went to bed. When I woke up Saturday morning, I watered down all the surfaces I sprayed with this cleaner. I was utterly amazed. Not only did it clean my shower, it removed years of stains in the grout lines. And the stainless taps are gleaming! Absolutely no scrubbing, no wiping, no anything. Wet the surfaces you want to clean, spray this on and walk away. Eight hours later, wet it all down again and prepare to be amazed as I was. Plus, it’s not like other bathroom cleaners that have heavy perfumes or smell like chemicals - this has a light fragrance that is nice. I will definitely be ordering more of this. So easy to use and makes cleaning less of an arduous task. ... show more

  • Ok for daily maintenance.
Scent: Fresh Size: 64 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Sprayed shower thoroughly and let stand over 24 hours. Work fairly well on shower glass, but grout lines, walls, and floor did very little. Scrubbing definitely still needed. More akin to a daily upkeep spray like Clean Shower. Did not remove mildew or hard water staining. No harsh smell which was good. For the money, I will stick with my other cleaners, and would not purchase again. ... show more

  • Best Shower Cleaner. Period.
Scent: Vanilla Size: 64 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This stuff is amazing, if you have a hand held shower nozzle. I sprayed it in my disgusting glass door shower. There was stuff growing on the floor. Scum on the walls. I sprayed it all over the shower and let it sit. Sprayed it down. Was like 75%. I did a second pass of the same and it was all gone. No scum on the walls. No growths on the floor. It's never been easier to clean a shower. It had no major odors—and I'm sensitive. Surfaces were shiny and clean with no scrubbing. Easy to apply to the entire shower. It's a versatile cleaner. ... show more

  • And the jury is still out........
Scent: Vanilla Size: 64 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
My wife saw the reviews for this shower cleaner and placed an order. Despite arriving quickly, it was a few days before it got its first use. To put it plainly: We were underwhelmed. Did it remove the dirty soap scum from the bottom of our shower-tub? We'll yes, but you really had to look to see it. To be fair, this is a brand-new cast iron Kohler, full-sized tub. It has a simple, but beautiful stark-white finish, with a good portion of the tub-bottom covered with a non-slip surface that greedily collects "everything" (you know what soap scum includes), so the bottom of our tub winds up looking dingy and dirty most of the time. I've cleaned it a number of times, bringing it back to looking new each time, but within days it starts to take on "that look." I've used the soft-scrub type cleaners, with and without bleach (the ones with bleach work the best) on 3M-type scouring pads, as well as rag towels. This works well, but my arm gets worn out and it takes a lot of time. I even bought a name-brand powered scrubber designed to do this kind of work. It uses similar scouring pad materials sized to fit its little round drive plate. This works too, but it took so long that I had to recharge it to finish the job, and my arm hurt almost as much as doing it by hand! Enter "Wet and Forget." Well, like I said, we were underwhelmed, and as I type this the tub is now sitting with its third application of Wet and Forget. I'm sure that when we run the water to rinse it down tonight the tub will look "better," but I feel confident that the result be another "close, but no cigar" outcome. Well, the bottle does give you a lot of cleaner that you can apply, and so far my arm hasn't felt tired or sore at all, but the tub still looks dirty and dingy, although now it includes clean spots where the cleaner has lifted the soil. We'll keep spraying (after all this stuff wasn't cheap and eventually it may finish the job), we just wonder if we'll need to order a second bottle to get the tub clean! I suppose if we could have ordered our tub without the safety-treads feature we wouldn't have this problem, but I don't know if you can order any tub without the safety-treads the way the safety-crazies are now. I have to admit, those treads have saved me more than once from slipping while showering, so I guess we're glad they're there. As for "Wet and Forget": We'll get back to you. ... show more

  • Great product poor packaging for shipping on Amazon’s part
Scent: Fresh Size: 64 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This is the most amazing shower cleaning product I’ve ever used. Just spray on and leave overnight, rinse and sponge off the next day. Easy on your back for us older folks. No product has ever cleaned my shower as this product does. My only issue would be with the packaging department at Amazon for this item. I’ve had it shipped to me in a box which has worked out perfectly. I’ve also had it shipped to me in a bag and the bottle was broken and the liquid leaked out in route which made it undeliverable. With that being said this is a large bottle of liquid so I can imagine the mess it made. I reordered the item and it came packaged in a bag not a box but thankfully it was not damaged. My suggestion to Amazon would be to have the packaging department always use a box to prevent this item from being broken during shipping. So much waste that is unnecessary and the waiting to hear from customer service as to where my item was than having to reorder and wait again to receive the new item. ... show more

  • PLEASE READ, BEWARE, MAY RUIN YOUR FINISHES. May eat through high gloss, leaving streaks. PLEASE READ, BEWARE, MAY RUIN YOUR FINISHES. May eat through high gloss, leaving streaks.
Scent: Vanilla Size: 64 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
IT RUINED MY HIGH GLOSS TILE FINISH. BEWARE, if you dont have WHITE walls, I do not recommend this wet it and forget it cleaner. It ruined my high gloss tiled walls. I initially just bought this for the shower curtain that was transparent, clear and it left a white film all over even after scrubbing. It turned my shower curtain opaque. I did everything exactly as instructed I wet the walls wet every single inch of the bathtub and walls and then I sprayed it and left it for 8 hours the first time, the second time I thought if I sprayed it again I would be able to remove some of the film the white streaks that it leaves instead I noticed that my walls were losing the shine and lacquer but I thought it was only temporary so I did it a third time and this time I sprayed the walls with water did it again and then scrubbed the walls to see if I could get the product off the walls instead it removed the high gloss finish not only of my walls but also of my shower curtain also my Hardware faucet and showerhead. I wish I would have taken a before picture of how highly glossy my walls were but I never thought this would be a possibility. If you have white plastic ABS plastic acrylic White Tiles I think this would work because the white Blends in with the white but I also think it would remove any shine any gloss any finish you have on your tile and walls regardless of whether it's white or not. If you have beige walls cream walls or any other color I do not recommend this product because I had a very high gloss finish and I don't know if it had anything to do with running a fan near the bathroom that helped dry this product out into the walls but the fan was not directly at the tile so I can't figure out what I'm going to do now to bring the shine back to my tiles. It ruined not only my Hardware but my wall tiles and shower curtain. I am devastated. I think my walls were too clean before I started so since there was no soap scum or mildew the product had nothing to eat off the walls that it went straight to eating the lacquered Finish. If you don't have white walls it may leave white streaks where it ate through your finish that can't be removed, you may not be able to tell if you have white walls because it may blend in but you will definitely be able to tell if you have beige or cream walls like me. Here is what Amazon Rufus said "I'm sorry to hear that the Wet & Forget Shower Cleaner damaged your glossy tile walls. This is concerning, especially since the product states it's "safe for use on most surfaces like glass, porcelain, fiberglass, metal, sandstone and tile." Based on customer feedback, you're not alone - several customers report similar issues with streaking and surface damage. Some mentioned having to use Windex multiple times to remove streaks, and others noted the product left white residue or damaged their surfaces. Immediate action needed: Stop using the product immediately on your tiles Document the damage with photos for potential manufacturer contact Contact Wet & Forget customer service - many customers with similar damage issues reached out to the manufacturer For the streaked walls, customers who experienced similar problems found some success with: Thorough rinsing with warm water multiple times Using glass cleaner (like Windex) to remove stubborn streaks Light scrubbing while rinsing (despite the "no scrub" claims) Since this appears to be product-related damage rather than normal wear, you may have grounds for a warranty claim or replacement through the manufacturer." ... show more

  • Probably the best cleaner on the market
Scent: Vanilla Size: 128 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I've had many issues with cleaners not doing the best job, and leaving a haze or something behind, regardless of how much or how aggressively scrubbing is added to the mix, but this item blew my mind. There is no scrubbing involved, and it really makes everything so perfectly clean! Spray it on before you go to bed, wash it off before your morning shower, and you're all set! I probably use it once or twice a week for maintenance (although that's honestly more than I need to be doing) and it turns out great, but if you have a particularly dirty shower, it may take 2-3 uses before it really breaks everything down into a perfect clean. It's very gentle and almost pleasant smell (similar to an air freshener) although I absolutely hate the vanilla scent and should have gotten the "clean" scent or whatever they call it. I highly recommend the larger bottle (and refills) and it will probably last you a year. Highly recommend this product! ... show more
