The media could not be loaded. We are very pleased with this purchase of dry/wet vacuum shop vac! It works on all kinds of surfaces, — carpet, flooring, you name it, and it does way more than a (very powerful) vacuum. My favorite function is the shampoo wet mop which works on carpets, — you can see the dirt and mud in the carpet being sucked up and go through the transparent floor nozzle! And you can clearly tell when one area is done when only clear liquid/foam gets sucked up. I also marvel at the suction power of the machine, which is reflected by how fast an area dries up after shampooing and mopping. Normally, it takes only 20-30 minutes for the carpet to look not wet. Both the water tank for clean water and shampoo and the bucket for dirty water are huge, and the machine can easily cover thousands of square feet with one single fill-up, and without having to dump all the time. We highly recommend this product to those with big homes, especially those with high percentage of carpets.

I was kind of 50/50 about this product when I ordered it, I wanted a professional carpet cleaning machine that was similar to the ones they use when you hire someone to professionally clean your carpets but without the price tag. Overall, the machine itself works decently well. If you are purchasing for the purpose vacuuming hardwood floors or shampooing upholstery ONLY, then this is a good machine. The suction has a low and a high setting, the high setting is very strong in my opinion, I don’t know why you would need a low option. I first tested out the vacuuming attachment on my carpets and I wasn’t too impressed, my $50 vacuum from Walmart worked better. I see this vacuum being more for hardwood floors or a workshop type area. The only issue I had trouble with was pairing the head control and the remote control. Initially I took the cover off the remote control and the battery would not stay locked into place, so I had to finagle it to stay, and eventually got it to work. Then I was having trouble pairing, but finally got that to work as well. Like I said I got this machine for my purpose of shampooing my carpets, I first tested out the larger shampooing attachment on my carpets, the spraying power of the water is not strong, but works I guess, but the suction for the larger clear attachment hardly works, my carpets were soaking wet even though I could see water coming up through the attachment piece. I decided to try the smaller attachment piece that is meant for upholstery, and it worked very well, it was lifting the carpet from the floor and my carpets were nearly dry! However; the attachment piece is far too small to do an entire bedroom of carpet, especially on your hands and knees, so unfortunately I will be returning this item. Overall, it’s not worth $170. Pros: Suction for certain attachments, blower, large water tank, lightweight Cons: Suction for certain attachments, very loud, cheaply made, battery not staying in place, pairing difficulty
