Acceptably workable and decently sharp hair shears, great for home use or a budget pair on the side. I like using shears like this when I take a side class or teach a basic technique on a mannequin because let's face it, their hair doesn't matter as much as the hair my super expensive (client) shears need to stay sharp for. This set of shears is great for that purpose and it does cut well, but I did have trouble with missed cuts until I tightened the tension. The issue there is that the tension is now tighter than I'd like it to be, certainly it would be too uncomfortable if I was trying to cut all day with it. The hand grip is comfortable however and the bumper is smooth. I think overall this is a great set of shears mostly for a home user, or as a good backup set for practice, etc. Not really professional quality in my opinion, but serviceable for an occasional use.
