I had to have a metal worker cut out the metal shield underneath the pans just so I could use 6 inch deep pans. Using 4 inch deep pans like it comes with is not an option for us. They just do not hold enough. Other than that, really like it for the price

Life changer! Having salad makings , soups, and sandwich makings ready to go makes it easier to eat healthy. I prep once a week: chop lettuce, make tune and egg salads, add a new soup or lentils, keep olives, sprouts, and artichoke hearts ready to use quickly. Perfect for snacking, we keep hummus and tzatziki, egg bites and tofu cubes along with chopped veggies for a quick visit to Salad City! We added a white board to the lid so we can map what’s in each bin without opening the entire unit. The lower fridge is where we store bulk products and hearty veggies. I added an interior light as well. Fairly quiet fan motor and as a whole, very well built. The only negative is that is can build up condensation on those humid summer days. Perhaps adding a tighter seal will fix the slightly damp interior. Otherwise, some foods need a cloth in the bottom of the bins to absorb the moisture and keep things fresh. ... show more

Almost $1000 less than a restaurant supplier. I was hesitant because most of the reviews were from home cooks and I needed it for my food trailer. The third time we used it, the controller shorted out. WestLake overnighted a new controller and helped me get it fixed. There was a slight language barrier on the phone, but the email support was great. The fridge looks solid and keeps temp even on 100+ degree days. The only thing I don’t like is that the 4” wells are small, and it’d be difficult to upgrade them. You’d have to cut the metal tray that holds them in place. ... show more
