  • Westinghouse makes a great generator
Style: 6600 Watts - Dual Fuel - Remote Start
High quality generator with a lot of great features. I love the electric start and the dual fuel ability gives you such versatility. It's also surprisingly quiet for a generator of this size. Unfortunately the shipping was terrible...it took 4 weeks to be delivered!

  • Easy to start Duel Fuel Generator with remote starter
Style: 6600 Watts - Dual Fuel - Remote Start
This is the very Best Generator because it is reliable and powers everything I need when the electric power goes out. I love the remote starter which is convenient when the weather is bad and also makes it easy for an older person to start the generator. My cousin recommended this model and I am very pleased. The price was very reasonable and it is very fuel efficient. I highly recommend this model, before the hurricane season starts! ... show more

  • First use, Worked great
Style: 6600 Watts - Dual Fuel - Remote Start
Recently had a big storm go through our area. We lost power for approx 19 hours. It was easy to move the generator from our shed to the house and get set up. It fired up right away and we were back in business. Easy to use and worked great to power up our house. We couldn't even hear it in the house so the noise wasn't bad at all. Great product. ... show more

  • Buyer beware
Style: 6600 Watts - Dual Fuel - Remote Start
I bought this generator in October 2023. I didn’t want to run it on gas as I’ve had experience with two other gas generators and didn’t want the hassle. So I hooked up a new 20lb tank of propane and it started right up. I’m all smiles. In December I fired it up again, no problems. Started right up. I like to run it for a few minutes every few months. Mid April this year, I tried to start it again but this time it would not start. It would crank but never run. The battery has been on a trickle charger and it was fully charged. The propane tank was full and the valve was open. Mind you, this generator has never been run under load. So I filed a trouble ticket with Westinghouse. It took several weeks to get a confirmation email and several more to arrive at a fix. The fix was to replace the regulator which DID NOT solve the problem. I am very disappointed that a brand new machine, never run under load, would fail in just a few months. Westinghouse customer service is the worse possible. Buyer beware. 03-06-25 I spent half a day trying to get this machine running. The battery had been on trickle charge and was full. Propane tank was full. I changed out the propane hose and machine mounted regulator. After all of this, the machine would not start. The starter runs but goes not crank the engine. I called Westinghouse customer service because I thought the starter could be faulty. I was told it probably wasn’t the starter but the spark plug. I informed the rep that the machine has only been run on propane for the few minutes that it actually ran, and I didn’t see how the plug could be clogged. I haven’t pulled the plug yet but I still hold that the plug is ok. The next thing the rep suggested was to replace the gas/propane selector switch. Really? This machine is, for all intents and purposes, brand new. How could a major component fail after less than an hours run time (and never under load)? My humble opinion is that this machine is NOT WORTH the cost. And I’m left without an emergency backup, which was why I bought this piece of junk in the first place. I recommend not purchasing this unit unless you are a qualified mechanic. ... show more

  • Great generator
Style: 6600 Watts - Dual Fuel - Remote Start
I purchased this for emergancy power back up. It arrived by freight delivery in perfect condition. I followed the directions to fill the oil and fuel, hooked up the battery for the electric start and it fired right up. It's quieter than I anticipated considering it is not an invertor generator. I like that the recepticles have flip covers too. We ran it for about 3 hours and tested it with some power tools. I bought the wheel kit as well and that makes it easy to move around. I have owned many portable generators in the past and this is one of my favorites so far. I highly recommend this unit. ... show more

After following the easy-to-use instructions, this generator started right up. Impressive. The wheel kit that I ordered was easy to install and makes the generator easy to move. This Westinghouse generator is a great value.
