    • Absolutely do not buy this product. 5 duds in a row.
I purchased two units initially, and one failed immediately. Westinghouse replaced it, but during testing, both the replacement and the second unit also failed. Westinghouse replaced those as well. Unfortunately, the replacement units were also defective—one didn’t charge at all, and the other could only charge half as many devices as advertised. When I contacted Westinghouse again, they stated it had been over 30 days, so no refund was possible. I then contacted Amazon, and they initially promised to refund the original purchase. However, they only reached out to the manufacturer, leaving me without resolution. Westinghouse has since communicated sporadically on the Amazon seller/buyer messaging platform, offering remedies but failing to follow through. I have reached out multiple times, but my messages have been deleted without explanation, despite taking screenshots as proof. After over two years of dealing with this issue, I am out over $900 and feel both Amazon and Westinghouse have failed to address these serious product and customer service issues. This experience has been frustrating, and I hope Amazon will reconsider its support in resolving this matter. Also there are.no manufacturing dates on the boxes. Lithium batteries shouldn’t sit for long periods. The manufacturing date should be known. ... show more

    • Received faulty unit!
The day I received my new unit Aug 31st, I plugged it in to fully charge. After a couple of hours I noticed it had not only not charged at all but the box on the charging cord was extremely hot to the touch! I unplugged the unit for fear the cord box overheating could cause a fire. I called Westinghouse and spoke to a representative that same evening. He told me to keep it unplugged and would send me a case # by email to refer to during communications. I received that e-mail. Called Westinghouse again and was told case # and report are on file.     • Failed 6 months out of warranty
Purchased unit July 2021. Used it "one night" for my CPAP machine to see how much drain would be used from the battery pack, preformed well. Purchased this for power outage backup only. Topped off charge every quarter since purchasing. It now will not charge to 100% on AC charging. It is now January 2024 and the unit is 5 months out of the two year warranty and Westinghouse tells me sorry the warranty has expired. "POOR QUALITY, NO SUPPORT" I now own a $500.00 paperweight. ... show more

    • Preformed flawlessly so far.
After reading all the reviews (after ) I ordered it I was afraid I would be returning this. Well it came and we unboxed it, plugged it in and charged it to full in about 3hrs. I asked my wife to carry it to the bedroom, plug in her C- pap and turn it on so I knew she could operate it. The IGEN600S preformed perfectly didn’t even know it was on. This will work perfectly at the off- grid cabin we have so I don’t have to run the generator. As for power usage, it used one bar. Next we will use her stimulation toy with it to check the stamina of it. I rate it 2 in the pink 1 in the stink. ... show more

    • Don’t buy! Never held a charge! Zero stars
I bought this for $500 eighteen months ago. I chargee it, and set it aside in case of a power outage. Six months later I checked it in preparation for winter. No charge at all. I figured maybe it discharges over time (not sure why). So I recharged it. But it only charged up to three of the four indicator bars (75%). It lost 25% capacity just sitting in my home office - and after just two charges! I pulled it out again this year, and charged it before a storm. It only charges to two bars now (50% capacity) after three charges. It died overnight just sitting there, powered off and unplugged. I really can’t afford to lose $500, and I need battery backup. I really regret buying this, and wish I had realized how poorly it was performing within the return window. Westinghouse reached out to me after I reviewed on their site, and their solution was to charge it in my car. It takes 7-9 HOURS to charge per the owners manual. I don’t drive that amount ever, so it was a non-solution. The emails got snarky when I told them I don’t drive enough to test this out. ... show more

no we purchased this generator in 10/2024. We got it to run our sump pump in case we lost electric. Two weeks ago, we lost power for 2 days. Tried to use it…nothing. We have been in touch wil Westinghouse…no interest in helping us? $500 it down the drain!😛

Easy. Bought it for stringlights while camping and charging my phone. Obviously I overbought... it didn't put a dent in the stored batt. Connected to a fairly cheap solar panel it does way more than I thought it would. Need to find some other gadgets for this to power. It's a great sidekick to the generator I bought in case the zombies ever show. ... show more
