Description

The Westinghouse WGen3600DFcv Dual Fuel Portable Generator is a convenient solution to your power needs, on the road or at home. Easily swap between gasoline and propane without shutting off the generator for added convenience and versatility. The powerful 212cc 4-Stroke OHV Westinghouse engine produces up to 4,650 peak watts and 3,600 running watts on gasoline and 4,180 peak watts and 3,240 running watts on propane. The 4 Gal. gas tank with built-in fuel gauge allows the generator to run for up to 14 hours and 16.5 hours on a 20 lb. propane tank. The RV Ready TT-30R and L5-30R outlets easily hook to your travel trailer, with enough power to run a 15,000BTU air conditioner and other necessities all day long via the standard household outlets. The control panel features rubber outlet covers that provide added protection from dust and debris and a built-in Digital Readout that displays real-time information on voltage output, frequency, and lifetime hours. Designed with safety and assurance in mind, the WGen3600DFcv features automatic low oil and carbon monoxide (CO) shutdown, voltage regulation, and overload protection, complete with a 3-Year Limited Warranty and Lifetime Technical Support, backed by our nationwide Westinghouse service network.

After several major blackouts since moving to northern Indiana, I decided to buy a generator to cover the important things, such as refrigerator, network, freezer, etc. This unit seems working great for such kind of loads, and actually is pretty easy to operate. I gave it a 4-star as I have not had a chance to really use it except testing it a few times to make sure its functional. No surprises, which is all I am asking for these days. It did sound loud during its initial start run, but seems the sound level was OK during my second test run. Maybe next time testing, I will take db measurement and record it. Once I do have to use it (or during my planned test run next time), I will update the rating accordingly if needed. ... show more

We bought this generator for the current and upcoming hurricane seasons. The product is exactly as described and we love the dual fuel option as well! The design is practical and its perfect size makes it easy to store. The generator itself is very user-friendly, and the manual is easy to follow if extra guidance is needed. This generator came with all must-need accessories, some of which included: a small bottle of engine oil, a small bag of tools, and the adapter for the propane. We were lucky and found this on Prime Day, but the quality is worth the original price. More to come when the generator gets put to use! Thank you, Westinghouse! ☺️ ... show more

This traditional style generator is not an inverter “quiet” type generator, but it is just about as quiet as an inverter “quiet” style generator. It is much quieter than other generators I’ve used. It is quieter than the push mower I have that uses a Honda engine. It is very easy to start. Once running, it powers everything I need it to with very little noticeable “grunt” during start up. I have a mobile sharpening business (an enclosed cargo trailer) and this generator runs all of my machines at once, the interior lighting and the industrial fan or space heater, without even trying. The fuel gauge is very easy to read, even in low light. I am beyond pleased with this generator! I absolutely recommend this generator. ... show more
