The control panel features a TT-30R 30A outlet for RVs, a standard duplex 20A outlet and two 5V USB ports. This lightweight inverter generator has a variable speed engine with Eco Mode, so it’s fuel efficient and super quiet, as quiet as 52 dBA, making it ideal for RV parks, neighborhoods and tailgate parties. The gas powered 80cc 4-Stroke OHV Westinghouse engine runs for up to 12 hours at 25% load on a 1.1 gallon gas tank, keeping your 120V home or RV essentials, like the fridge, powered all day or night with less refueling, saving time, trouble and money. This is a clean power inverter generator, producing less than 3% THD, safe for sensitive electronics like computers, phones and TVs. Westinghouse is a brand I trust with a long history of producing durable equipment. The iGen 2550c is among the smaller size, lower cost, and more convenient portability for this kind of equipment. Power capabilities will be more than adequate for my off-grid power tool needs, and maybe power outage service at home. Quality is impressive. Easy starting and quiet operation. User manual is very well written with good illustrations, comprehensive parts list and exploded views. It's everything they say it is. It's pretty quiet, portable and fairly lightweight. I'm using it as an emergency backup for my motor home. This portable generator only supplies 15 amps but that's more than enough to charge my batteries, run the coffee maker or the microwave as long as I only run one thing at time. Bought this generator to pair with a travel trailer for boondocking adventures and it fits the bill perfectly. Easy to set up for the first start and now starts on first pull every time. I love that it has a 30 amp outlet for the trailer. Also really impressed with how clean it runs. No gas or oil smells after shut off and allowed to cool, which allows me to lock it inside our vehicle without any issues of toxic odors. Efficiency mode works awesome. Initial experience: after adding oil and gas, my new iGen2550c started literally on the 1st pull. Very quiet operation, light weight and portable. User manual very detailed and clear especially in describing safe operation and care and maintenance. Excellent access to all essential engine components: well thought out and accessible for self-service. (UPDATE 1/5/2026) Starts up easily and puts out great power. However its consuming a bit of oil at this point. Have to add a few ounces of oil ever two or three gallons to keep the oil shutoff from coming on and shutting down the unit. I did proper breakin and routine maintenance and am a little upset the unit is burning so much oil at only 170hours. It has an actual fog when under high loads. Blue smoke everywhere. Also as with many units with a CO sensor its a little too sensitive for my liking. Ive had it shut off many times from a slight breeze blowing the wrong way. Ive seen several of the Powerhorse 3500 and Predator 3500 inverter generators get 8,000 to 10,000 hours and still not burn nearly as much oil as this unit unfortunately. At the 170 hour mark i cant recommend this unit for long term use. Id opt for a compeditor with better long term reviews. Im going to just add some engine restore to the crankcase and hope it helps and I'll keep this as a spare and upgrade to a better unit. Won't be much longer and I suspect I'll be fouling spark plugs. Also the handy LED info panel is starting to malfunction and not updating the load percentage or runtime remaining as well. (Initial impressions)It runs great and started on the 3rd pull. Somehow after running the 1st time I restarted a few days later and had no led lights for the panel on my 2550c. I contacted Amazon and they contacted Westinghouse and I assume they were going to set up a repair somewhere. I figured I'd take it upon myself to see if anything obvious happened. I removed the 4 screws for the front panel and found a wire had come loose from the lights! Turns out it was a simple fix! Huge thanks to Amazon and Westinghouse for being so quick to help! Definitely recommend the unit! Super quiet and seems to be fuel efficient! And Amazon customer service is top notch! ... show more

Very happy with this generator. Very fuel efficient, 1.2 gallons lasts all day. I really like the 30 AMP RV outlet. This is perfect for my truck camper or any time you may need backup power. It's also very light and quiet, they did a very good job designing and building this genset.
