I love this product my my Jeep look great and it seems very sturdy the only reason I gave it a 4 start was because in order to install this you have to remove the tow hooks and in my point of view those are very important to have because you either need to tow someone out of somewhere or you are the one getting towed out so for me to complete remove the hooks seems dumb I guess there is the argument that you can use the brush guard to get the towing done but I don’t feel safe with that so I had to modify the guard a little bit to put the hooks and the guard on there but other than that it’s a nice product ... show more

    • Great product. But disables front parking sensors.
We love the Grill Guard, but want to let potential buyers know that installing this grill guard will result in the front parking sensors being disabled if your vehicle has them because it interferes with them. We did not know this before installing it on our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland but after realizing it we felt it was an ok trade off for us. It does not appear to interfere with the Adaptive Cruise Control. So I think we are good there. ... show more

Without torches and metal fabricating shop, will not fit 2016 Grand Cherokee.. Made in China, terrible waste of time.

    • Bolts shear off after driving for a coupel days.
The first grill guard arrived with no mounting gear at all. After returning the product do to extensive damage and missing equipment, the second arrived missing a couple pieces of the mounting gear. I was able to contact the manufacturer and sort out what was missing. Since installation two of the mounting bolts have simply sheared off. The holes for the upper mounts are far too large for the 5/16" bolts (should be 3/8 to fill the gap) and cause the washers to be ineffective and bend. None of the bolts have the proper Grade markings to indicate they are even rated for any impact whatsoever. I'm not sure if this item will remain on my vehicle unless I can obtain properly marked and Graded hardware. ... show more
