Description

Westins HDX Bandit Bumper combines a heavy duty diamond plate steel bumper constructed of schedule 40 steel pipe with a stylish grille guard featuring 2in. diameter outer wraparound wings and 2 3/4in. wide upright rubber strips. Designed to protect headlights, grille, hood and front fenders from road hazards, debris and wildlife damage. Features a stylish metal honeycomb mesh screen, which allows maximum airflow to the intercooler or radiator area while accenting the front end styling with a clean and rugged look. Removable mesh screens allow for factory camera and adaptive cruise control options available on some late model Ford applications. HDX Bandit Bumper includes a built-in 2in. receiver hitch and (2) heavy duty 9,500 lbs bow shackle mounts, capable of delivering multiple towing options. Compatible for factory fog lamps or LED post mount lights. In addition, some late model Ram and Chevrolet applications feature provisions for factory parking sensors. Bolt-on installation with hardware and mounting brackets included. Available in black powder coat finish.

Great bumper/grill guard. Very heavy duty, no question about driving away from wildlife strikes. Couple of snafus on a 2024 Ram 3500. You will have to either make some wiring harness extentions or find some for purchase before you find out in the middle of the install on a Sunday afternoon. The wiring harness was short for one sensor on each side. I would strongly suggest professional install as it will save you a lot of grief and time. There are some things that someone that does it on the regular wouldn't blink an eye at, but took us extra time to figure out. Did go together right the first time, it took a lot of time to get it set in the right position. Very satisfied with price and the product, just advise that you save yourself the grief of self install! ... show more

I ordered this bumper through Amazon, it is a solidly built unit with some very beefy mounts. As with anything there are a few minor flaws, if you are mechanically inclined. 1st the 2 sensors between the center and outer need to have the wires extended by 4" so they will be easier to install as the do not reach. 2nd There is no way to hook up the inner fender well to the bumper. No brackets or mounting hardware. 3rd there is a gap between the bumper and the grill of the truck by about an 1.5". 4th the bottom fog light nut is a pain to get in place to install the light, Some tape will help. This is a very heavy bumper you WILL need some help installing it. A little bit of modifications will do it good, I will say it is very well built otherwise! I had an issue with the partial refund that was promised me from Amazon and they told me it would be 5-7 days then 12 days later they still hadn't refunded me the amount they agreed upon. now they are telling me that too bad you installed it. I was told to go ahead and they would give me a partial refund if I bought the rubber strips that were tore up. Well here we are they said too bad you need to return it (after it was installed) and then it will take at least 30 days to decide about the refund! So they do not keep their word on their refunds.
