This guitar was in excellent condition when I received it and I was instantly impressed with its quality.really mean looking, and when I picked it up I really liked the weight of the guitar and the shape of the neck. The strings played very nicely out of the box which really surprised me. The set up was of course not perfect but the guitar was comfortable to play without adjustment. I tried some lower tunings and it held the tension on the strings really well. However, I must disagree with other user's reviews regarding the quality of sound. The guitar does sound like a lower cost guitar in my opinion and I have played my share of guitars with cheap or old pickups. I think the pickups have a slightly thin or tin like sound, and if you play under high gain the guitar does squeal/ feedback especially when you stop playing. However, I would still consider this a decent sounding guitar overall, as I was able to have fun with it. All that being said what you get for the money is exceptional.it definitely looks really cool and feels great so you will be encouraged to play it.if you are starting out this is a fine choice or if you are looking for an extra metal guitar perhaps for alternate tunings then also great choice.more experienced users may just want to swap the pickups/ pots and if you did that then you would probably have really sick guitar

This guitar is beautiful! The red trim is spot on and weight is good and the neck is straight and true. The guitar sounds amazing and the kill switch makes this guitar next level. I already own a Revenge and this guitar has the same awesome build quality which is pretty much perfect. The red humbuckers against the white finish is outstanding! The roasted maple neck looks very expensive. It is amazing the amount of guitar you get from such a great cost. There is no reason not to buy this immediately in my opinion.

It came set up pretty good! I did file the nut slot on the 6th string. I'm picky. I like the metal pick guard. The neck is very comfortable, a modern style Tele neck. The frets were good. The kill switch is so-so. You can hear the button being pressed through the amp. Meh. I will upgrade the kill switch someday. It's a great guitar for a great price.

After receiving guitar it had extremely rough and uneven frets, and a ding on the top. I contacted Westcreek and they asked what I thought was fair compensation and they immediately issued credit. Guitar has a nice thick neck, smaller frets (even smaller after leveling and polish). Bone nut was cut very nice and a good nut. Pickups are a bit muddy, but can always upgrade or mod. Kill switch has a bit of static/delay. Good guitar for the price. Excellent customer service Westcreek.

Really decent guitar with a few issues that are fairly easy to fix.....Great pickups No need to upgrade,,Awesome Neck and has a Aluminum pick guard which is very cool..No flaws at all to the body just well made..Easy upgrade to fix a kill switch issue. buy one!!!!

For 169$, it's a fairly high quality guitar, if you're willing to do some work. Mine was received with the frets all over the place, they're wildly different lengths, sharp and rubbing my hand raw, and the 4th and 9th fret had to be leveled as they were raised significantly. Also, the small metal string through pieces weren't in place well and all fell out when I changed strings. Its a cool guitar if you want to modify or mess with the kill switch, but id go get something else if it's going to be a first/only guitar.
