- PROFESSIONAL SOUND WITH HEPTONIC TUNING Featuring 20-22 hand-tuned Khadi wood keys, this African xylophone is tuned in C, with a major diatonic tonality. The accurate tuning of the Khadi blades is impressive, and the sound created with the buzzing gourds is enchanting and very loud. Khadi wood keys, hand-tuned, smoked to dry and seal, prevents pitch warping.

Is a volunteer, grassroots US non-profit dedicated to fighting poverty through clean water, orphan support, and sustainable livelihoods The founders planned their "humanitarian honeymoon" to a Liberian refugee camp in Ghana. There they saw first-hand the tragedy of poverty, and resolved to try to first understand, and then to help. In Ghana the founder became friends with local drum builders and later agreed to help them market their drums to better support their families and preserve their culture. Now providing opportunities for many artisans in multiple countries with product development, training, loans, and access to global markets to sustain their cottage businesses Andy Jones, Founder & Volunteer Director with Kayla on their "humanitarian honeymoon" Boti Falls, Ghana, 1999 Education is a right, and creates a path for a hopeful tomorrow with less poverty than today. From 1999 , AHP has fed, clothed, educated, and befriended hundreds of Liberian orphan children and youth.
