Description

The Werner Paddles Camano 2 Piece Straight Shaft is a low-angle kayak touring paddle equipped with Werner’s most popular, award-winning blade. The stiff blade’s dihedral optimizes power to keep you relaxed on a day’s journey. Werner made the blades out of fiberglass and the straight shaft out of a carbon blend for enhanced swing weight as well as stiffness. The mid-size blade fits the widest range of paddlers, and the fiberglass laminate is brightly colored and slightly translucent. Werner’s Smart View Adjustable ferrule is one of the most streamlined and precise-fitting options on the market, ensuring the same stiffness as a one-piece paddle.

It seems to enter and exit the water so smoothly. Nicely made and the system to select the feathering degree is excellent. The paddle is feather light and peals through the water effortlessly. Tested it out on lake Superior pictured rocks lakeshore and the 4-hour trek was wonderful and the fatigue factor was almost nil. This quality kayak paddle is light weight with gorgeous coloring (Gradient Blue). Ordered a 230 after reviewing the sizing chart - was perfect! Would definitely recommend this paddle. Fast shipping too!

My first kayak I bought $180 Werner. I thought, why in the world would I want to pay that much for a paddle? There is a major difference between a $25 and these Werner paddles when you're paddling for hours at a time. $280 is a bit expensive for me, but it is a very nice paddle and a couple ounces lighter than my first Werner paddle. Don't think I would try any other paddles after using a Werner paddle. The power and comfort is worth it, if you're doing long paddling. ... show more

After trying out an entry level paddle in the 60.00 price range, I splurged on the Werner Camano. Wow! The difference is remarkable. Using the measurement guide, I selected the 230cm based on my kayak measurements and my height of 5"4. Amazon is great, but this particular purchase was made elsewhere because they had it on sale and carried it in the small shaft. The multiple adjustments for feathering are really cool! This paddle slices into the water and I don't feel the fatigue I experienced with the cheaper paddle. Despite being a beginner, I'm able to paddle for hours at a time without strain out in Tampa bay. ... show more

This is a great paddle. It's very light compared to what I am used to. I purchased the red bladed version and it has great looks.
