Description

Remember when your saw stayed on the right track? Keep your cuts on the straight and narrow with the WEN 20V Max Cordless Track Saw. The WEN Track Saw provides users the same results as a table or panel saw in a compact and portable package. Simply lay the track (not included – models CT9502, CT9110) along the desired surface for a clean and smooth cut. The WEN Track Saw is the perfect companion for ripping plywood, trimming doors, building furniture, and any other application needing long, precise cuts. Our powerful variable-speed motor rotates the 6.5-inch blade from 2000 to 5500 times per minute, letting you power through even the hardest of woods. Bevel the saw anywhere from -1 to 47 degrees depending on the needs of the task at hand. Set the depth gauge anywhere from 0 to 2.1 inches to control how deep the saw plunges. The 12 x 6.75-inch base features precision grooves that let the saw glide smoothly along the track. However, the saw can also exist on its own as a plunge saw, relying on its flat base for maximum stability and precision. Easily switch between three different blade settings: one for scoring cuts that go 1/8-inch deep, one for full plunge cuts, and one to simplify blade changes. The back- mounted dust port allows for attachment to your favorite dust collection system to control sawdust and limit cleanup. Simply attach your dust collection device of choice and start sawing. The dust port adapter allows the unit to still stay flush against walls, making this an ideal saw for flooring trim cuts. The two included 4.0 amp-hour lithium-ion batteries deliver consistently powerful performance at any level of charge, feature onboard LED charge gauges, and are cross-compatible with the entire WEN 20V Max Cordless Lithium-Ion Power Tool line. And, because it’s a WEN product, your WEN 10-Amp Plunge Cut Circular Track Saw comes backed by a two-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians, and a friendly customer helpline, all to make sure you remember WEN. A minimum of two 4Ah batteries is recommended.

  • Can't be beat for the price.
Style: Track Saw
I bought this to break down 21 sheets of plywood I needed for building my new kitchen. In the past to do the same I used my Bosch builder's circ saw. I bought this to replace that saw, as that saw has been abused for years. A couple things I don't like about this are the trach adjusters seem sort of cheap, but they work. A gripe I have is the anti-kickback gizmo. You need to remember to open the up and make sure the saw is on the track before adjusting the track adjusters, and also before sawing. ... show more

  • For the money... I don't see how one can go wrong!
Style: 110-Inch Track
I have TSO squares and they fit like a glove on this track saw slide guild. TSO never mentions this in their advertising...( Makita, Trex, Dewalt, Festool yes... They make different squares that fit Festool and others for Makita, Powertec, Kreg etc. I have not used this guide rail yet but I assembled it... Yes I would recommend Wen Guild rail...and make sure you get a good case to carry it in... I purchased Rugged Tools Guide Rail Bag - Protective Track Saw Bag, for Saw Guide Rails up to 59"... it is well padded and you could get 2 (55) =110 inch rails in this bag... or a 39 inch and a 55 inch...on the other side... It also has a dividing pad in-between the two sides where u can store rails... It has a convenient orange zippered pouch on the exterior of the bag to store miscellaneous small tools for your guides, or even extra connecting rods. The Zippers seem to be well made... time will tell after a lot of use I'm sure! I ... show more

  • Happy with replacement
Style: Track Saw
Update: Replacement arrived quickly, allen wrench seated into arbor much deeper this time and blade removed easily. Saw worked great, added painters tape over opening in blade guard and vacuum worked really well. Used with 110-in Wen track and Wen 36053C 6" Quick Release Track Saw Clamps. Tracks were straight and ends were square. But the quick release clamps would not slide into the track slots. Had to file down a bulge on both sides of the clamp head near the sliding bar. Sprayed clamp heads with flat black paint for protection, they slide easily now. Can't remove blade arbor Was so excited to try it out. First wanted to change the blade to a better one I have. But the allen wrench would not seat deep enough in the hex head of the arbor to remove it. I tried other allen wrenches but no luck. Sending it back to Amazon, luckily they are already sending me a replacement. I will update when I get it. ... show more

  • Great saw, especially considering the price
Style: Track Saw
I bought this to help break down full sheets before taking them to the table saw. I have a Festool plunge saw which works great, but I don't have track long enough for an 8' cut. I could buy this Wen saw, 110" of track, and clamps for much less than the cost of the Festool track, so I went for it. I had low expectations as I didn't need perfect cuts, but this saw works amazingly well. There's a tiny bit of play along the track, but it ends up being a fraction of a millimeter along an 8' cut. The pictures show rip and cross cuts on 3/4" birch with UV finish, with and without the scoring cut. The scoring cut makes a huge difference on the cross cuts, it's a great feature to have. The cuts shown are with the OEM 24 tooth blade. I'm sure I'll get even cleaner cross cuts with the proper blade. The manual says to run with dust collection, and it's right. Without a vacuum attached, sawdust builds up in the track and stops the saw. It's the same for any track saw, but it's important to know before you start using it. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. ... show more

  • For the cost . . . it is hard to beat.
Style: Track Saw
I have had the WEN 6.5 inch track saw going on 6 months now and am pleased with my purchase. The saw sees moderate/medium use; meaning 3-4 cuts per day on average. Material is either 3/4" MDF or birch ply exclusively. With these two board types the saw powers through with ZERO issues. It is noteworthy to add that I swapped out the blade with WEN's 44t blade. Whether or not a finer blade makes a difference with cutting power, in regards to this saw, I am not sure. Also, the WEN blade I purchased separately offers amazing cuts. But that is for another day and for another review. I did take the time to 'set' the saw up. WEN has steps in the Owner's Manual that help guide the user through the process of getting the saw fairly accurate. It would seem, however, the saw is pretty darn close to being straight out of the box ready to cut. And while you could get some nice cuts without going through the set-up process, you shouldn't expect the accuracy this saw can provide. The others reviews that mention this saw's lack of accuracy seem to have something in common - the tracks. It was mentioned in another review that they "upgraded" to the PowerTec tracks, and well, I argue against this being an "upgrade." Once again, this review is for the saw, not for the tracks. Therefore, it could beg the question if the tracks themselves play a role in the saw's accuracy. I mean, the saw is riding on the tracks. So, if a track is wonky, then the cut will be wonky . . . right? But this is how reviews go - one review complains the accuracy is a joke while another review (this one and many others) claims the accuracy is near perfect. With the only reason it is "near" perfect and not actually perfect is because of the human factor. Having said all of that I do feel that I must put this out - the saw is VERY DELICATE. If you know that you are the type of person that does not place tools in their proper home but throws tools in the back of the truck . . . . . . . this saw is NOT for you! I cannot stress enough that this saw needs to be handled with care. This saw has NEVER left my climate-controlled shop and has a little cubbyhole just for it - and the trigger is sticking and a piece of the housing has broke off. Not sure of the warranty so not able to speak on that. But I would still recommend buying this saw . . . if you are a hobbyist that may use the saw 2-3 times a week. I am assuming that if you are reading a review for a WEN power tool then you are a DIY/weekend warrior/hobbyist, if so, this saw could serve you well. If you are a contractor or work professionally on job sites then stay away; far, far, away. ... show more
