Description

Remember when you had clean and quiet portable power? The WEN 4800-Watt Inverter Generator provides clean energy, free of voltage spikes and drops, without all the noise of a regular generator. Produce up to 4800 surge watts and 4000 rated watts of power. Our 224cc engine operates at a modest 62 decibels at quarter load. This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 4800W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The built-in wheels and telescoping handle make for easy portability while the ultra-efficient 1.9-gallon tank provides up to 7 hours of half-load run time. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with four three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode switch. This allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the unnecessary usage of gasoline. Need more energy? Easily link up any two WEN inverter generators using a WEN Parallel Connection Kit (sold separately) in order to share wattage amongst multiple units. I don’t live a lot of reviews, but this one deserves mention and I bought it on sale on Amazon a while back and it was a lot less money, but don’t hesitate to pull the trigger. It’s a great little generator, very compact, very quiet and starts right up and runs like a champ the electric start is a little tough to get used to it first I thought I had a dead battery but you have to hold the start button down for a couple seconds then let up wait a second and it’ll start by itself same with shutting it off. Can’t say enough great about this little generator. I use it every day for a business and it just keeps on going I’m gonna buy more. One problem I did have of my own is mounting this in the bed of a truck will not work unless you raise the generator up to get it into fresh air. The Co sensor wants to turn it off because the exhaust gas won’t clear out of the bed, but it’s an easy fix either put the generator on the tailgate or I built a stand for mine to set it up above the edge of the bed. We just lost power for 9 days during the Palisades fire and this generator shipped the day after I ordered and came in literally 20-ish minutes before our power went out. I had a neighbor help set it up and looked very easy to do. I was able to easily start it by myself and run multiple extension cords to power essentials. We plugged wifi, tv, phone chargers, refrigerator, deep freezer, cappuccino machine, and air fryer. When using the kitchen appliances we would unplug the deep freezer or refrigerator to make sure we didn’t exceed wattage. Very easy to just unplug and plug what was needed in. This saved us! The only thing I wish we could have done was plugged our water heater in and some better lighting. We are now looking at the higher wattage as we are already looking at another power shutoff Monday. I have recommended this one to so many people already! 9 straight days of use from the moment we took it out of the box. I recommend getting 50+ feet for the cords and power strips to plug in multiple things via extension cords. It ran all night long without going off from gas usage. We got 3 2gallon gas cans and a 5 gallon and used a siphoning device for that to transfer gas. It would last 8 hours easy on a tank. Easy peasy! I started it multiple times no husband needed. A child could operate easily. Very user friendly. Highly recommend. Great price and it’s very lovely looking and quiet. The guys that helped set me up asked me for the link bc they couldn’t believe how well it worked and how quiet it was. Thanks for saving our lives this last week +! Sorry for the jumbled review but wanted to make sure to get all the information out there. ... show more

Very nice unit. Only issue I had was a bad battery which Wen replaced free of charge. I only use mine with propane and it starts on 3 to 5 easy cord pulls. With the new battery the electric starter now works. I can power my entire home except the central air conditioner. Perfect for me with our frequent power outages. Highly recommend. And the unit is quiet, especially compared to my previous gas powered monster. Inside with windows closed I don’t even hear the Wen running. ... show more
