Toolbox is sturdy..great metal construction. The only thing I had was the latch on the lid was bent. I was able to straighten it to lock the box, I was.hoping the actual lock was better quality. It seems weak to me and key is rough to get into lock sometimes.

Not sure if it happened in delivery or if manufacturer defect. It came damaged with metal buckling in the back on both sides. Too much work to try to return. Hoping it can continue to maintain advertised weight.

There are no reviews of this tool chest anywhere. I've searched online and on the company's website, so I thought I'd try to answer some of the questions… It weighs about #75 It has no pad or wood top It’s grey, not black It has soft close drawer glides that work poorly Unfortunately the wen cabinet was delivered damaged. The cabinet was compressed on all 4 corners on the front and back (I emailed the company, no response so far). The lightweight construction and minimal cardboard made this inevitable. The upper and lower drawers were damaged as well, but even the drawers that were not affected are clunky and sticky. The “soft-close” feature is present but you have to push them past a lot of resistance to get them to engage and overall they just feel really cheap. The wheels are heavy but have no bearings on the axle, so you’re depending on plastic bushings to carry hundreds of pounds. A recipe for certain failure. There are dozens of 7 drawer, 12” cabinets the same height and width for less than $200. This appears to be the thinnest construction possible, with cheap glides and fewer drawers. I was optimistic that this would be better quality for the higher price, but it is not. Now I have to find some way to repackage this crappy toolbox and take it somewhere to be returned. Even if it had miraculously arrived undamaged it would not be worth the money. The cheapest cabinet at the hardware store is of equal or better quality. ... show more
