I've been a Wellness CORE stan for some time. My dog finally got to the age that the vet recommended I switch him to senior food. I was afraid he wasn't going to like the switch, but lo and behold, it was a hit! I sometimes wet his food a bit, but even if I don't he'll eat it gladly. i do switch up his food or toppers from time to time to avoid exhaustion, but overall, I would highly recommend this product!

I was excited for this food for my 8 year old labrador. He seemed to enjoy it, but I think most labs will eat most things in their bowl! Was there a win there? Absolutely. But I did notice that his poos were REALLY big with this food, so I am wondering if there is a lot of filler, or perhaps he might not be digesting it very well. I'm not saying this food is not quality or that it is bad, it just isn't for my lab.

So glad to have a grain free dog chow for my senior dogs! It is a little more money, but it contains lots of ingredients that are specific to a senior dog's health, which means that you don't have to buy any additional supplements! So it tends to even out! And good nutrition can go a long way as a preventative to senior dog health problems (and the high vet bills that can come with treating those issues! So again, spending a little more for great nutrition can be a great investment!)

This brand was recommended on a site as being best for dogs with fecal incontinence. My 16 yo Puggle started having issues…loose bm’s, difficulty waiting until he was outside, etc. This High Protein, low grain brand made a huge difference. Only one accident in the last month or so. He loves the taste! 160 degree turnaround! Yay!!
