Wrong color fence was sent . Ordered green but black fence was in the box marked green . Keep the fence because I didn’t have time to return it in order to get fence up . Nice it comes in a box to protect it and the tool is handy .

The wire fence comes rolled up and wrapped in plastic. It is then placed into a box with the other items that come with it. There is not much risk of shipping damage with this item. Material Quality: The fence is made of metal, steel I believe and has a green coating on it. There is an included metal sniper that made of metal with plastic handles, a bag of plastic tie wraps and some fabric gloves with rubberized coating on them. Assembly/Build Quality: The fence seems well made. There is nothing about it that stands out as being an issue. The snips are decent quality. The gloves are kind of cheap but its not like you need heavy duty gloves in any case. The plastic tie wraps are exactly as you would expect. Marketing Material: The images posted with this listing (at the time of this review) represent the product well. There is no misrepresenting here and everything is as it looks in the picture. There are some badly photoshopped animals next to the fence that make it look much larger that it actually is, but otherwise what you see is what you get.. Functionality: The fence makes a nice barrier for small animals as well as for decorative uses. I am using it for keeping my dog out of the side of my house as well as for areas along my wooden fence that she likes to try to dig under. It is sturdy and seems like it will hold up for a good while with its protective coating, just don’t bend it too sharply or the coating can become compromised. The included metal snips are nice for cutting the fence to the size that you need and the tie wraps make securing it quick and easy. Price: This item is listed (at the time of this review) for $52.99. This price seems to be in line with other similar products and is not that bad. It works out to be about a dollar a foot roughly so not unreasonable I guess. Likes: I like that it is 50 feet. You have plenty to cover a large area. Dislikes: TI just wish it didn’t have the bottom most horizontal bar, then you could stick it into the ground to secure it and provide some anchoring. Overall: I would recommend this item if you are looking for a long sturdy edge fence that you can use to barrier off areas or use for decorative purposes. I have a fence that goes around the yard. But the problem is that there are a lot of gaps under the fence. The way it was installed in some places there is as much as a foot of clearance underneath. This means that anything from cats to dogs to possums to armadillos and I don't know what else finds it's way into my yard. So I ordered this fence material. This is perfect. There is 50 feet of fence but since it is 24" wide I can cut it into two 50 foot strips a foot wide and 100 feet long. So that is exactly what I did. Of course I didn't have a tool to cut the fence into appropriate sections but that's OK because they include one in with the fence! Well that was handy! So while my particular project took longer than most due to all the cutting I had to do, the cutting tool made that an easy chore. It cuts right through the wire no problem. There was just enough fence for my project and now varmints can't get into my yard. This is almost identical to the fencing I used to keep rabbits out of my strawberries where I lived before and so this would be perfect for that as well. Rabbits are not known for hopping a two foot fence. This fence will NOT keep out rats or small birds, for that you would need a smaller mesh. I highly recommend this as a varmint fence. ... show more

The fence is exactly as described but I did think 25 feet would be more. It seems to be good quality & easy enough to work with. I like how it comes with a nice pair of gloves, wire cutters, & zip ties. This will work perfectly to keep my dogs from escaping the iron fence we have!

This wire fence is sturdy and well made. It comes with ties, gloves and, best of all, a wire cutter. The green coating on the wire is a nice touch to keep it from rusting. I'm planning on using this wire around some trees and bushes so the green color will look better than the usual silver wire. It isn't as high as shown in some of the pictures, only 15", so take this into consideration. ... show more
