Although my son liked the bike and enjoys riding it we are regretting getting this bike. In only two weeks the chain has come off over 10 times with just normal riding from my son. We initially contacted the seller for guidance and they offered a 50% refund to allow us to go to a local store and have them address the issue. We have instead opted for full refund to be able to go get a better bike. We have had a number of kids bikes over the years in various sizes and this was the first time we have had issues with a chain on a mostly pre-built bike. Seems like a high quality product, better build quality and price than national chain department store. Yes, I recommend this product, make sure you get the right size, our was a little big for our 8 years old, but it will be perfect for him next years through probably the age of 14.
