I've been using this on my daily walks for the last month and it's just what I was looking for. It's comfortable, balanced, adds the right amount of weight, and doesn't pull weird on my shoulders. It's a little big for me (I'm 5'4" and mostly a M in blouses), so I had to pull the straps all the way tight, but it doesn't feel weirdly weighted or slip off at all. There definitely seems like a lot of room to adjust it if you're larger than I am. The seller did warn that it would smell a little weird for the first few days until it aired out and I did find that to be true. It definitely smelled a little bit like "factory" for the first week or so. But after that it's been fine and it hasn't been a problem.

This is a comfortable well-made vest, my second of similar style. Fits well and the weight feels comfortable. I sweat a LOT in our southern summers, rinse my vest off after use and hang it outside for the sun to take care of any potential smells forming. I may come back and add a longevity review, but so far so good. I'm getting plenty of use of it.

Had one of these years ago from a cheap store so I wasn’t really expecting much from this product. I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the best with the weight on it. The best is functional and easy to use, it is not an inconvenience at all. It definitely helps out when it comes to working out even if you’re just walking or running or doing every day tasks. For me or my wife, we like to just wear it while we’re working to increase the value of our workout while working. I think I noticed that when I pulled this out of the box, there was no odor which is surprisingly full products like this. Also, I wasn’t sure how the fit would be both wear this with no problem or adjust it if needed. It’s not too heavy or too light. The weight is distributed perfectly amongst the best itself. Now I’m thinking about getting some ankle weights to match.

I ordered this vest, as an older active woman, to make walking a more aerobic, muscle strengthening, and weight-bearing activity. When I first put it on, I wondered if I should have purchased a vest with adjustable weights to gradually get used to it. However, after about 15 minutes of walking, any feeling of potential muscle strain disappeared, and, as a bonus, it felt like the balanced weight encouraged good posture. The vest is comfortable to wear and does not restrict movement. The front straps are easy to adjust to accommodate clothing and chest size. I tried using it for step ups and other exercises, and it works there too to strengthen and tone muscles. So, basically, I am happy with this vest—so why three stars? Well, where I live summers are long, hot, and humid. At some point, I will probably want to clean the vest, but no instructions came with it or online about how to do so. There is only an online description, along with the following statement: “CUSTOMER SERVICE - If there is any problem with the weighted vest you received, please feel free to contact us, we will solve the problem for you immediately.” Sounds impressive, but when I attempted to contact the seller to ask about cleaning, I found that there was no email address or other way to contact the manufacturer. Rufus (AI) was clueless, so I tried the manufacturer’s store front: nothing. After doing some research on iron sand weighted vests, I found a more helpful seller who stated that this type of vest can be surface cleaned, but not washed, due to potential rust. I appreciated that seller’s honest and helpful disclosure. Hopefully, if I always wear the vest over cotton t-shirts during the summer, it won’t get so sweat-soaked as to become a limited use, disposable vest.
