I bought 2 of these to add to two others I have (similar style) for a month long trip. I couldn't find the same model, so tried these. They have excellent features--close tightly, segments can be separated for shorter trips, and clearly marked. My only concern is that, since I take quite a few supplements, they have a hard time fitting into these compartments. However if you only had 5-6 normal sized pills, they would fit easily. ... show more

    • Nice, well-though-out solution for a.m./p.m. pills
i bought this for my better half to use, now that he has prescriptions and supplements to take each morning and evening. It has plenty of room for each dose, and it's very easy to fill--open all the a.m. lids, fill with pills, then flip it around and load up all the p.m. pills. It ends the frustration of wondering if the dose was actually taken. I didn't notice that each day is detachable but it's very handy. This makes it nice for filling the pills at a regular time each week. If you're off on Wednesdays, for example, and that's the easiest day to refill pills, you can rearrange so the week starts with Wednesday. It also makes it convenient if you go away for a couple days--just detach those days and throw them in your backpack. (For longer-term travel, we use the Lewis & Clark nylon folder with pill pouches, since it takes up very little room.) The lid for each day opens easily enough but they don't seem to just pop open, so I'm not too worried about knocking it off the counter and spilling pills. This is a nice solution for anyone who takes medication on a regular basis. If you don't take am/pm pills, it would alternately be great to use for a 2-week period. ... show more

I bought this for my dad because he doesn't remember if he took his daily medicine or not. First of all, space to access each box is small, it's more made for Depth then width, so an elderly person with bigger hands will not be able to reach inside unless you pour everything out. Second of all, it doesn't close tight, so if you travel, might end up pills spilling out.     • The firm lock mechanism is the best that I have seen.
I take over 20 pills a day, I am over 75 with several health issues, and have 2 other types of 2 a day pill holders, This is the best of the bunch. It has a surprising amount of room yet is the smallest of the 3 styles I use, I have a home and a beach cottage and frequently travel between them, the others sometimes open in transit making for a serious resorting process.     • Compact but sturdy
I got the weekly one. It’s smaller than I thought, which is why I took off one star, but still fit 6 vitamins (including one horse-sized one) in each compartment. Fits into a quart-sized ziplock if you’re worried about it popping open during travel, but it seems sturdy enough to stay closed.

We bought this item on May 20,2020. Best selling point was that the lettering was the Unique Silk print lettering, never rubbed off. Ater only 3 months lettering has already rubbed off many letters. It has not been misused, filled weekly and never washer. The case is very sturdy, I really like the closure, very secure but easy to open. Too bad the lettering does not stay on as that is a very important part of this as a pill reminder to know what days have been take and which are left. ... show more

    • Too small for multiple pills
The more pills that you take, the more important a pill organizer is. This one is much too small for the number of pills that I need to place in each receptacle. While pills vary in size, many are fairly long and thick. This organizer is not designed for containing several of the larger common pill sizes at the same time. If you only need a few pills, or only take small pills, this could work. Otherwise, look for a pill organizer with larger compartments.
