It's smaller than I realized, just by looking at the pictures on the Amazon listing.. in hindsight, I could have seen this by reading reviews, but that doesn't matter at all! It's perfect for our 4-year-old daughter. It holds just the right amount for us. It was a very cheap option compared to other personalized toy chests, we personalized ours ourselves, saving big bucks all around! It's definitely not as sturdy as some, but again, it's for a toddler, and it was cheap to purchase. I did not anticipate this being the Taj mahal a toddler toy boxes! I have 3 kids that love to leave their toys lying around and leaving them on the floor. So I bought this so we can store them away every time they’re done playing. It’s a little smaller than my 4 year old when she’s standing up but it’s exactly her size when she kneels, and she’s 3’4”. It has a safety hinge so it won’t slam on their finger when they open it and it also doesn’t open all the way which is great because it won’t slam and make noises, if they decide to get inside of it they won’t get trapped or locked inside.It’s great for small toys like plush toys, toy cars, dolls, etc. It smells strong after you take it out of the box but wiping it down with some scented wipes the smell isn’t as strong and is bearable and goes away the next day. I wiped it off as soon as I got it out of the box just in case. It’s super easy to assemble and the instructions help. I was able to build it in 20min. It’s sturdy, a little heavy once it’s built but once you have it in the right location you don’t have to carry it anymore. And your kids can use it as a bench and sit on it when they’re not opening it up every time they want to take out a toy. ... show more
