I never have to worry about gate checking as it fits (very) snugly under the seat on a CRJ 900 or EMB-175 in a pinch. I removed the rigid backing to give me a little more flexibility, and I use with packing cubes to make maximum use of the roomy interior. A lot of compartments and very roomy , comfortable to wear and works perfect as a carry on. I was able to fit plenty of clothes , make up and lap top without it being too bulky . Loved it so much I bought another for my brother who travels a lot and he’s absolutely loving it .

I love this bag if you know how to pack properly you can actually get a few days worth of traveling clothes inside. I managed to pack three pairs of jeans a pair of shorts a pair of shoes, a few shirts one pair of sandals and a few other things inside. It actually does fit under a seat. I tested it out on southwest, it fits under the window seat & the middle seat but not the aisle seat. The aisle seat has a smaller area so it would not fit there. Also, be careful with packing because the zippers are very sensitive and it can open if your bag is too full. Overall I’d definitely purchase this again if I had to and I do recommend it for others. ... show more

Used this bag on over 70 flights in one year. outside zipper broke and I still love the bag but i just zip it halfway lol. zguess I should replace either the bag or the zipper. Its great other than that Fits under United, Delta, Spirit, Frontier, and American seats - yes Ive been on them all ;)

I fit a weeks clothes in it. A heads up. It's kind of heavy empty so when it's full it's really really heavy. But holds a lot of stuff and it's very well made for the price. Easier to to o carry heavy backpack on n your back than carry heavy suitcase in your hands.

I bought it because the measurements stated that it would fit under the seat, but I did not try this as I had two bags. This is a very nice and sturdy bag with good zips.
