We recently purchased a new home and had to buy all brand you furniture .Most of the furniture that I purchased did require a lot of assembly since it was price point type of furniture. This bed took the longest to put together, since it has many bars to screw in together. It seems sturdy, and doesn't make squeeking noises like some beds of this type does. If you get frustrated easily, you will need help. Got this bed for my daughter. It was easy to put together, just comes in a lot of parts so it takes awhile. Should definitely have 2 people to do it. Difficult to assemble. Pretty frame. Nice and sturdy. Circle tops of posts don’t fit, you’ll have to hammer them in. Unscrew some screws if you have difficulty putting the bottom two pieces together.

I assembled it over a few hours by myself and managed it. It is designed to be a 2 person job so that would have made it faster and easier. I like it a lot. It comes with a few extra screws and things and that was good because one of the big screws had a little fault that made it unusable and I bent one of the less big screws trying to get the top part together. ... show more
