Just put it together. It was fine as a solo job, took about 20 minutes, though I've gotten pretty handy with an Allen wrench. Not sure if it was just the one I got but--there's supposed to be four screws on each side with the metal and wood board. There's two short metal pieces and two longer ones that connect. There's supposed to be short screws holding both connecting sides, but with the way the short bars' connecting piece is on one side, those short screws don't reach. It almost looked like the holes with the extending piece from each pole were put on the wrong way. I just left it alone. The frame seems sturdy enough. I sat there after I was done, and not being a small person, I was glad it held up to the weight cap mentioned in the description. The point of it is to look good and serve as an occasional guest bed. And it wasn't expensive, so all in all I say good deal. ... show more

Sturdy and very easy to assemble by myself! Had to stare at the little rubber inserts for 5 minutes before it clicked on how to put them in. I’m really happy with this bed for the price is a great value. Sleep on it every night for a month now without issue.

No quality control. Pieces damaged, pieces bent, holes not lining up for bolts to thread into other side. Frame is wider than a standard twin mattress, you will have metal fram overhang on front and back of mattress. Instructions were pictures only.

Easy enough to assemble, just pay attention to the numbers on the side rails (4, 4a locations) and push the rubber tabs in to secure the slats, those were the only things that were a little unclear in the instructions. The bed is sturdy upon assembly. I will be using this in a guest room, but think it would also make a great bed for a kids room. ... show more

This is such a cool daybed! Perfect for small spaces, very sturdy, and such efficient and easy assembly. Everything is clearly labeled and you even get extra screws etc. If you follow the instructions you'll have no issues. One thing to note is that the various bars can fit top or bottom and if you find yourself struggling to screw in a screw in one junction then just flip the bar around or use another one, just switch position and it will fit. The screws go in like knife in butter so if there is any opposition, then just use a different bar or different screw, that's all. All pieces fit perfectly, there are no issues if you follow the instructions to the T. The bed looks fantastic. Simple and elegant for us ... show more
