In theory, this would be an amazing bed frame if the bars stayed in place!!! The horizontal bars do NOT want to stay in the slots and keep coming out when we sit on the edges or climb out of it! While putting it together my husband realized that they’re too short and won’t stay in place. It’s a complete waste of money since this has made using the bed frame dangerous and absolutely useless!!! Do yourself a favor and buy something else!!! ... show more

    • Works Well But Not What I Expected
The bed frame itself is fine, I can't give it a bad rating because of my own mistakes. It wasn't what I expected and it was my fault for not measuring my mattress prior purchasing or even measuring the clearance under my bed for a better idea. When I put a measuring tape in front of me measuring 14" clearance, it didn't seem high until I put the bed frame together and realize how much space there is underneath. Literally so much space that a medium sized dog could make a home down there. That's great for extra storage but I wasn't intending on putting any storage, I just liked the way the frame looked overall. I also didn't expect it to be this wide. I have a Casper brand mattress full size and it's inches smaller than the width of this frame which is unfortunate as one side is exposed and looks really ugly. Again, those were my mistakes and I should've been more careful measuring and reading the description but I clearly didn't. I wish I could've gave this to someone but it'll do for now. The overall design is very attractive. I love the headboard and the black frame around the bed. It's very simple and matches all my decor. Putting it together was a little bit tedious but I managed. Arrived with no damages and all the pieces were labeled for easy assembly. Pretty sturdy for the price but I'm not exactly thrilled with the purchase (due to my own mistakes). ... show more

I purchased this almost on a whim after having delivery struggles with the original bed frame I ordered. Ultimately, I'm glad I opted for this one instead. It is extremely easy to put together. It has a nice, sturdy structure, and my mattress does not move around on it. It has a simple, but classy look to it. The metal frame is black, and the wood is more of a slight reddish brown (compared to the photos). It has ample space underneath, which makes for easy cleaning (or storage). ... show more

    • Surpassed my expectations and so easy to assemble!
I was so afraid this metal bed would rattle but whoever designed it definitely took this into consideration as the individual plastic tabs that go between each slat and frame work perfectly to keep this bed whisper quiet while I do all my toss and turning or any other vigorous movement (;-p).. So far I am very happy with his affordable bed, the way it looks and also how easy it was to put together. I will admit it was 2 of us doing it but the instructions were easy to follow even tho as many other have mentioned they list numbers on one side and letters on the other BUT if you look on the diagram included with the instructions the parts are listed with both numbers and letters to make it easy to follow. I still dont understand why they didn't stick to just numbers or letter but thats beside the point. The bed was out of the box and assembled IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. I love that it takes so little floor space and the space under the bed is ginormous for any boxes or under bed storage you want to get. Worth every penny! :-D ... show more

    • Looks nice but the metal slats don't stay in the frame

The metal slats are not long enough across to stay in. There only little slits in the ends of each horizontal rod to hold them in each end and they constantly fall out of the main vertical rods if you shift your mattress. I have had to purchase a board to lay across the bed to lay the mattress on so that it doesn't sink. It is an annoyance. ... show more

    • Be patient but its an awesome bed
So I bought this bed for my teenage son. The instructions were a little complicated. On the parts its labeled with numbers but on the actual instruction its letters. There is another page that shows which numbers= which letters but not sure why they had to complicate it like that. I see from other reviews that people were stating the measurements were off but I can clearly also see from their photos they were not putting the bed together correctly. They measured the headboard insert and not the full headboard. Also the slats do fit correctly. They have small slits on each one and you need to slide the small insert into them from the bed. The frame was super easy to assemble and all of the parts fit perfectly. I was a little nervous because some of the reviews stated that part of the frame was too small and didn’t fit completely, but mines was perfect and I have no issues. The color and style looks super modern and simple, and I love that I don’t need a box spring for this bed, just my mattress. My previous frame was all wood and fell apart after a few years, but since this one is metal I think it will last longer. ... show more
