These rings are very low. If I had kept them, I would have had to remove rear sight blade on my Marlin 60. Further, the dovetail screws would not stay secure, even using blue loctite (hence my low rating). And good luck trying to secure the "thumb screws" with your fingers as they are way too small to do so. I hope this review helps. ... show more

Don't get stuck with Dovetails when what you really need is Tip Offs for those early 22 rim-fires that have just have a small 'tiny' ridge to grip on the barrel. These worked great on my old Remington 581 that always had the scope falling off. I haven't had a single issue with scope rings now that I have these. Good price and great product. ... show more

They worked exactly like they should. Much better quality than some of the "cheaper" chinese stuff. Too often guys will buy a decent rifle, a decent scope, then buy a $7 set of rings for their .22 and wonder why their rifle's zero wanders. BTW, a little trick I use. I go to the dollar store and get a $1 bottle of clear nail polish hardener. When I put the screws in, I put 1 drop on each screw, just like locktite (except cheaper and easier to remove later). This way they won't come loose later at some inopportune time. These rings are good to go, and a couple drops of nail polish hardener makes sure they stay that way for years. ... show more

Product is substantial enough but limited to scopes with 38 mm or smaller objective lens and the description does not say that. My scope with a 40 mm objective could not be mounted using these rings.
