This was my first Synergy pad and I absolutely love it! The pad stays put and doesn't budge at all during riding, even on long trail rides, it looks beautiful and sits on my horse very well. I got this pad in the felt lined version and it is really nice. It has a memory gel layer and felt wicking bottom layer. The top is a little rougher than I would have hoped, but it is sturdy and should last a long time. My mare is so comfortable now that there is no more resisting when we are getting ready to ride, and no bad behavior during the ride. She is happy to be doing it instead of uncomfortable and unhappy like she was with a cheap pad. THis was pricey, but soooo worth it! ... show more

Very thick cushioned pad. Great if you are needing to fill some space between saddle and horse. If you are already fitting saddle tight I would maybe consider a different pad. Good sturdy quality so far
