This is my second Weaver pad. I ride with an endurance style saddle with no skirts and the pad ends just a couple of inches behind the saddle tree. It does not interfere with the crupper. This order I chose green to use with my red Appaloosa, my first pad was a red Indian blanket pattern to use with my pale buckskin. The pads seem to keep their thickness and good looks.     • It slips easily
I was disappointed with how easily the saddle slips with this pad. We use it on a horse for equine therapy with special needs kids and had to do an emergency dismount with one child as despite tightening our girth as tight as we could, the saddle slid sideways as we walked slowly around a curve. Luckily we have two side walkers at all times and were able to easily get her safely to the ground. ... show more

    • Splurge for a better quality saddle pad
Very thin saddle pad. I used another blanket under it. When it came the brown part was completely unattached to the cloth. Either the glue was cheap or never set. I ended up gluing it back on because I didn’t have time to sent it back before my trail ride.

    • Pad is great! Shipping time was a bit much...
The quality of the pad is great! Fits deep, round skirted barrel saddles very well. The shipping would be my only complaint. Almost 2 weeks. But the pad itself, is a keeper.

The color online is misleading to what I actually received. The tag on the product does say turquoise/green tough. Does look like a quality pad though.
