  • Is it really worth it ?
Great watch if your still in the stone age . Not to many bells and whistle on it . Just the basic options. No tuch screen. Just buttons. Some numbers and words are a little small if you got bad eye site . The watch is pretty durable. I was surprised. Just have to be careful of harsh chemicals on it . Anything that can brake down rubber . Very happy with this product. It's been taking a beaten and haven't broke it yet . I'm impressed. Sleep tracker is also nice to have . So is the step counter . Lots of other options I haven't tried yet . No problems receiving text messages and F.B notifications. Not to hart broken on can't send messages. Great product for stupid people like me. ... show more

  • Great Watch but a bit too small
Style: Instinct 2S Color: Graphite
Awesome watch with a great battery life. Love the Garmin connect app. I just wish it was a bit bigger, touch screen and even better battery life.

  • A bit tolearn great features.
Style: Instinct 2S Color: Graphite
Leave pulse ox off unless using, like tracking function and doesnt have to be tied to phone or internet, navigation. Yes app for weather.. but can not be used. We like the freedom of use without feeling stalked by the internet. Glad we skipped the solar function.

Bought this for my son for graduation and liked it so much, that I purchased one for myself. Great for keeping up with daily activity and can't wait to try it while hiking.

  • Great Watch with Some Room for Improvement
Style: Instinct 2S Color: Graphite
This is a great watch, though there is some room for improvement but it's not enough to remove a star. Watch during daily wear: During daily wear this watch performs excellent. I use it to track sleep and to wake my up in the morning with its vibrating alarm. It also does a great job tracking sleep, though I wish Garmin would add an update that would make it act similar to Fitbit where it will wake you up during a light sleep period around your alarm to make you wake up nicer. That's the first improvement. Though not worthy of removing a star. Activity tracking: My workouts are typically mountain biking with the GPS active. It does a very good job tracking the rides and the stats are extremely useful. The GPS is accurate as well and works wonderful. On a two hour mountain bike ride it typically doesn't remove more than a day from the battery life either. I also use it for inside work outs and running and walking. The stats are great. I am not a huge fitness guru, in fact until I had this I just worked out, rode bikes and never tracked anything, so I never knew what any of that meant, the Garmin explains it all though. One improvement comes from when I pause a bike ride to grab a drink of water, the STOP logo is in the upper corner. I wish the STOP logo would time out and it would display your heart rate. You can back out of this screen and go back to the main screen to see it, but a nice feature would be to have it right there. Battery life: I got the non-solar version because I didn't think the solar was worth an extra $100 when the non-solar gets up to 30 days of battery life. I was right. I get around 2 weeks out of a charge on the watch and that is with several 1-3 hour GPS activities throughout that time period. I guess the solar version would maybe add a day or two onto that time frame, but its already ~ 2 weeks of battery time. I can take it off for two hours and fully charge it once every 2 weeks. Not a big deal.... My only other gripe which is not Garmin's fault is the lack of apps. I have an app on it to open my garage door, but I would like one to turn off my house lights too, which I cant find yet. All in all its an awesome watch. Buy one! But save yourself $100 and skip on the solar version. ... show more

  • Light and accurate
Great device, very accurate it works smoothly with the app, very light in weight which makes it very comfortable. Setting up the screen and different features could be a bit tricky but you learn (in my case got used to the frequent features I need very quick). The only “but” could be the band wrist could be a bit longer (it works for me but I have a small wrist) ... show more
