This is my 4th Garmin watch, so I obviously like Garmin. I like this watch becuase I like to listen to music wthout needing a phone or internet. i will say, Garmin doesn't make it easy putting music onto the device. It's always been "how did I do this" as it seems it's different each watch. Forget Garmin Express for this task. Instead, make sure you alwyas keep a opy of your muisc file on your computer. This new version allows you to transfer music from your files. It only holds 500 or less. It's also been enlightening to know my sleep and recovery facdtors. I switched from a Samsung Watch 5 Pro to the Garmin Forerunner 265 thinking I’d get a better swim experience. Unfortunately, it was the opposite. The lap alerts were the biggest disappointment. Garmin lets you set an alert for a certain number of laps, but the watch rarely fired at the correct time. I had alerts going off at the start of a lap, halfway through, or not at all. Meanwhile, my Samsung—on the other arm—hit every alert perfectly. What surprised me even more was heart‑rate accuracy in the water. The Garmin readings were noticeably less consistent, while the Samsung tracked much closer to my actual effort. Garmin also limits you to one distance alert, whereas Samsung lets you set multiple. If you swim structured sets, that’s a real limitation. And here’s the twist: before getting the Garmin, I always wore my Samsung on my left arm and assumed its stroke detection was just inaccurate. But when I tested both watches side‑by‑side—with the Samsung on my right arm—I discovered it was actually extremely accurate. I never would’ve known that without comparing it directly to the Garmin. Bottom line: I expected the Forerunner 265 to be an upgrade for swimming, but in every meaningful metric, my Samsung Watch 5 Pro performed better. Also, I could not figure out how to pair the earbuds with my phone either! ... show more

Looks brand new and works great, screen is easy to see in light and dark areas. Really liked my 255, but this 265 is a good step above!
