I bought this as an alternative to purchasing an adjustable dumbbell stand. I was able to rearrange the shelves and place the basket at the bottom. This carries the weight well and was easy to assemble. Although product suggests the shelves can hold a capacity of 250 lbs, they do shag slightly if the weight is all in the middle. No problem when it's distributed evenly. My adjustable dumbbells are 52.5 each, and there doesn't seem to be an issue with the shelves when placed closer to the sides. ... show more
