This product is genius! I love my Apple AirPods Max and wanted to be able to use them on the treadmill, but I get very sweaty and didn't want to ruin these expensive headphones. I found these earpad covers and they are a gamechanger. They are easy to put on and remove. They don't feel weird on my ears. They are easy to clean. They keep my AirPods in pristine condition. I was hesitant to buy at first and was going to get all of the additional pieces in the bundle. I decided to start with these as I thought they would ensure the longevity of the AirPods Max and let me use them at the gym, which I tend to frequent 5 days out of the week. Probably one of the most convenient, easy to use products I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. They fit, and line up exactly. The Material is easy on the skin and I’ve had no issues with sweat rubbing or making ears uncomfortable. The color doesn’t rub off, and you can easily clean them off after using and go back to the regular ear cups seamlessly. The sound Performance had no effect, music, videos, podcasts, all sound great. You can’t even really tell they are on. I have the plain black ones, and the appearance is very stealth like or even just default looking on the space grey pair. If I had to purchase again, I’d get them in a heartbeat. I’ve been using for a few weeks now and I’m very satisfied with the purchase. Skip the other products, THESE ARE THE ONES TO GET!!!

I am actually pleasantly surprised how well these work! Comfy, there’s no change in sound, and does exactly what was promised! Keeps my headphones dry! Didn’t give a whole 5 stars only because I sweat so much that they do slide just a tiny bit during workouts. I do a lot of cardio and weights. But it hasn’t hindered me from working out.

These covers are one of the few that actually have covers over the ear holes which is a plus. They prevent a lot of moisture from getting on the foam iPod pads. I will say that they do cause your ears to sweat if you’re working out hard. And they can slide off if you try to take your headphones off too quickly. But they are definitely stylish and make your AirPod max headphones unique. Would definitely say they’re durable. Haven’t had any issues when putting them on or taking them off. They kinda mess with the sound quality but that’s to be expected. It’s won’t ruin your workout or anything. Super easy to put on as well and they don’t affect the comfort/fit of the headphones too much. Would recommend these

Unfortunately, these cups completely sacrifice the sound quality. Tried upon arrival but will not be using at all. I was thinking I could just use them for exercise, however it is a fiddle to fit them so they just won’t be used. If you care at all about audio quality DO NOT BUY THESE! The bass is non-existent and the sound is like a cheap pair of ordinary headphones. My advice - spent less and get a full silicone set that covers the outside of the cups and headband too. I ordered this too just to be safe and was $5 less! The pads are protected from sweat fine with the other purchase. They might look fancy and fun, but sacrifice the audio quality so aren’t worth it at all! Don’t bother - complete waste of money.

Fits around the ear cup just fine. Feels like silicone against your head. Works exactly like you'd expect. If you are looking for something to protect the fabric of the original ear cups from discoloration, these covers accomplish that. But they absolutely do alter the sound profile. If someone says it doesn't affect the sound then perhaps they are simply not concerned with or able to hear the difference. The AirPods Max sound great already, and these silicone covers don't make them sound terrible, but they do alter the sound and IMO, worsen it. The sound stage is more narrow and a lot of brightness is lost. Bass doesn't sound reduced to me, and I didn't notice it becoming muddy in my limited testing. I think a lot of the sound difference is simply attributable to how much of the speakers are being covered by the silicone. When you put this much material over a speaker it disturbs the original sound profile. See photos. I think this product could be improved if it didn't cover so much of the speaker. Edit: You can take scissors to the silicone and cut out the material covering the speakers and leave only the material covering the donut shaped part of the ear cup. Doing this means the speakers are no longer covered and the sound profile is mostly restored. There is still some difference in the sound profile due to the donut part of the ear cup being covered but not enough for me to notice. And I personally greatly prefer the feeling of the original ear cup fabric over this silicone, but after spending $70 to replace the ear cups once, I'll sacrifice that comfort to save the money.
