These have been working great. I bought some 3d printed ones off eBay that snapped and for the last year I taped up the headset to get it to hold the headband. Tried these out and they are working great and I don't have any issues with quality.

These ClampZ are an absolute lifesaver! My Astro A50 headband had cracked, and instead of spending a fortune on a new headset, these braces fixed it perfectly. They snapped right into place, held strong, and actually made the headset feel sturdier than before. The fit is precise, the material feels durable, and the design blends in nicely so it doesn’t look like a patch job. Installation only took a few minutes, and I was back to gaming without any wobble or flex in the headband. If your A50s are starting to split or feel weak at the top, this is hands down the best and cheapest solution out there. Highly recommend!

I ordered the upgrade earpiece and head pad they make and i did not order the clips at first I didn't see an issue not having them but I decided to go ahead and order them since others said it improved the feeling of the headset. I can't say that a it's a very jurastic feeling between having the clips installed and no clips but I do feel like it makes the top headband feel more solid for the price I don't see a reason not to get them but I think you can do without them just fine
