This is a well made tool for assisting when leveling horizontal, vertical or 45 degree measurements. It is made from heavy duty thick and rugged materials. The handy loops at each end are helpful to hang it when done, and the markings on the top gauge go all the way around the sight tube, so you can tell if you are looking at the bubble straight on or at an angle. So for the first pic, I am looking directly perpendicular, whereas in the second pic, I am at an angle, so I’m not getting a good reading this way, and need to adjust my viewing angle until the circle markings are shown as one line, vs ellipses. This allows very precise tracking and accuracy. My photos show this when holding the camera at different angles. The ends are protected with tough bumper pieces to prevent damage from falls. The green shade of the fluid in the bubble draws in light very well, making it easy to read the gauge. Only one edge is magnetic but I would prefer that for both sides. The only other thing I might change would be to have two small bars on each side of the center bubble part, to protect it from accidental bumps to this area. The value for the money is very reasonable, considering the quality of this instrument. I verified the accuracy with a known good level I own on a level machine at work.

I originally picked this up as a smaller, more convenient alternative to my larger level, and I've been incredibly impressed. It doesn't just "fit the bill," it exceeds expectations, especially for the price. Build & Accuracy The construction is solid aluminum with crisp, easy-to-read markings. Nothing about it feels cheap. I was pleasantly surprised to find its edges were perfectly true when I held it flush against my professional level that cost 8 times more. Most importantly, the bubbles are dead-on accurate, matching my more expensive level on every axis. Standout Features A feature that I absolutely love, and that my other level lacks, is the top bubble. It has a lensing effect that makes it crystal clear and readable even from extreme angles. This is a genuinely thoughtful design touch. Another simple but practical thing is the bright yellow color. My workshop is cluttered, and this makes it incredibly easy to spot in the mess. Magnetic Strength The magnet on this is surprisingly strong. I store my levels by sticking them to the side of a metal freezer cabinet, and this one holds on much more firmly than my more expensive one. Final Thoughts For less than $20, this level is an absolute steal. I couldn't find anything locally at this price point that even comes close to the build quality, accuracy, and handy features of this one. It's a fantastic value and an easy recommendation.

I need a little level as all I have are 2 and 4 footers. This one fit the bill nicely and works well. I like the magnet and it feels good in the hand. The holes for hanging are nice as well. It is just a little chubby at 1.27" thick. Good level though.

This is a nice level! It has a hefty body almost all metal except for the end caps. Those are part plastic and part tough rubber. I chickened out a bit in my drop test but did try it from a foot or so up and it did totally fine, not a scratch just had to wipe a little dust off. Love the looks of it 👍 Each of the three bubble alignments match favorably with some other trusted levels I have (the horizontal and vertical to a Johnson brand construction level, and the 45º to a smaller Empire brand level). The magnetic ability seems pretty good as well: I was able to leave it hanging from my garage door rails which have a curved bottom surface and aren't particularly thick steel either.
