I've used lots of fans big and small and they always seem to underperform. Not this little guy, it moves at least what it's rated for, maybe more. I'm impressed (Way better than comparable ACinfinity fans). It does need to be wired (just hot/common), so if your not comfortable with basic wiring then maybe not the fan for you. I put it on the compressor housing of my chest freezer on a thermostat to keep my freezer from overheating in the summer. Works great. It is a bit loud but that's the sound of wind, which is why your buying a fan. It measures a hair under 6" in dia so it would fit perfectly into a 6" duct for inline installation on the cheap. ... show more

This fan moves some air . Keeps my solar controller cool on 100+ days . I had 2 axial fans previously it was hard to tell they were on . This one comes on for a couple of minutes and shuts down.
