We picked up some Reliant flat style water jugs for camping to carry drinking water for us and our pets. We used to use the clear, collapsible water jugs. While we liked the spout, we could never fill them all the way because they were too hard to carry with the sharp handle design, and they rolled around when traveling. Unfortunately the new jugs had horrible spouts that leaked when pouring. While looking for other spout options I stumbled across this. Pros: works extremely well. It pumped water without having to charge it first. The hose reached the bottom of the jug. Didn't need recharging during our week long camping trip. Cons: size is just enough different from our jug spout it could easily be knocked off (we have the ability to fix this, but not everyone would). It would be nice if it came with a storage bag to keep it clean. Hose was a bit difficult to put on. It’s a little slow, but can’t complain too much about this as I no longer have to wrestle a heavy water jug repeatedly. All in all I would recommend and buy again.

The media could not be loaded. I'm no longer a skeptic! Very impressed at how well this works. It works GREAT, super simple to use...wish I had known about this a year ago. The crocks and water machines are pricey as well as getting the pre-filled water jugs. This water dispenser is great for taking water to picnics, camping etc or to use at home with jugs you fill yourself at purified water stores. If you have screw top water jugs you need the food grade silicone caps so the dispenser will fit. Thank you to those who posted videos of its operation, this influenced my decision to purchase.

This comes unassembled in the box, without diagrams, and includes a tiny page of dodgy English instructions. The product's picture on the box would seem to make its assembly intuitive, even for a mechanically challenged person like me, but it's not. Believe me, it's not. Once you finally understand that the spout goes into the hole on the neck at a 45 rather than a 90-degree angle, you're mostly good to go. Seems to me, that stating or picturing that simple fact would go a long way toward customer satisfaction, since unless you do precisely that it's frustrating. With the spout incorrectly installed, once charged and on, this thing could make such a water mess as to be comical and most entertaining to any toddler seeking water fun. OK, so I probably should admit that I'm not the sharpest tool when it comes to product assembly but in this case, I made a concerted effort....and a watery mess too. So, take my experience to heart and jam that spout down at a 45, and you'll be good to go. Mine is working gangbusters now that the spout is installed correctly. The neck of the device has no sleeve and just sits on top of the bottle, so don't be surprised if your two-year-old stores his cookies in there. The battery seems to last for a long time, now on the third 5-gallon bottle in my case, and the silicon hose reaches down to the bottom of a 5-gallon tank. I'm happy, after laughing a lot in the beginning at the unexpected showers and that spout thing popping off, projected like a missile across the room. But hey it was cheap. The saving grace is that it will eventually work if you don't break it while assembling it, and also don't read the instructions, of course. That's where I went wrong....terribly wrong! I read the instructions. Go figure, because I don't usually do that.

Ok I caved and bought this for our water table after seeing a video of it on Instagram. It’s not great for that use. It’s the same water table (step 2) but it doesn’t fit as well as they make it seem, and it shuts off after a minute. Totally fine purchase but I probably should have done more (or any) looking into its actual use. So just a warning to others looking for the same.

Living in a temporary housing situation. The water started to smell and taste funny so we had to go to the Water containers, 5 gal. This works great. so glad this works on the large 5 gal waters from the grocers.

We had just switched over to buying the jugs and buying the machines that make it cold or hot just wasn’t something we liked. We decided to buy these and they worked way better than we had thought. The little tube is very long and can fit any size jug. It rarely needs to charge because it has good battery life. Small and easy to install. I recommend this as a better alternative to buying the huge machines for the jugs.

It works well when it's working. Battery life is lacking and the overall life of this unit was short. That being said, We used this daily to wash dishes as we were building our house so is saw heavy use. If you are going to use it strictly for camping on a part time basis then it will probably last you longer than ours did
