Well Hello There, Big Boy! When this watch arrived and I put it on my wrist, I quite literally laughed out loud. I knew it was a men’s watch, but I did not fully appreciate just how big the face would be on my very small wrist. Let us just say this thing does not whisper, it announces itself, and on a guy it would probably look fantastic. The dial is big, clear, and easy to read with that classic military style 24 hour display, and paired with the army green nylon strap and black metal case it has a seriously cool field watch look. The Moment You Realize It Actually Works Once the surprise wore off, I started really looking at the design and honestly, it is a sharp watch. The army green strap against the dark case looks contemporary and even a bit chic. The nylon strap is comfortable, lightweight, and feels durable enough for everyday wear. The crown turns smoothly for setting the time, the quartz movement keeps it running right on schedule, and the whole watch feels solid in the hand. The best part is how legible the dial is. One quick glance and you know the time without squinting or guessing. Fashion Plot Twist Here is where things got funny. I looked down at my wrist and thought, you know what… this might actually be a look. Imagine it with tight black jeans, black military style boots, and a chunky army green sweater. Suddenly the oversized watch starts feeling less like a mistake and more like a bold styling choice. Fashion is funny like that. Sometimes the thing you did not expect becomes the thing that makes the outfit. A Watch That Owns the Room This is definitely not a dainty watch. If you're feminine, and you have a small wrist, it will wear big. But if you are willing to lean into the look, it becomes a fun conversation piece. The military green color is fantastic, the design is clean and modern, and the oversized dial actually adds personality. A Happy Little Purr At the end of the day, this watch surprised me, made me laugh, and then slowly convinced me it might actually be fabulous. It is well made, easy to read, keeps accurate time, and has a cool aesthetic that stands out. Once I pair it with the right outfit, I have a feeling this wicked little watch is going to earn quite a few compliments. Analog watch with a 42mm black metal case, beige face with black arabic numerals, and an olive green nato strap. Battery powered quartz works. The white hour and minute hands appear vaguely green thanks to luminescent paint. Overall it is a good looking "explorer" style watch The all metal construction of the case, and I think it's a glass (not plastic) crystal, give this watch a nice hefty feel. The 22mm band is the genuine nato style -- it runs under the watch twice -- is made of a pretty thick nylon -- and has most of the hardware sewn in to be securely captive. My only gripe would be the buckle and tang. They are black metal, and should hold up ok, but they feel like they are the weakest link in keeping a secure watchband. I'm also disappointed that the buckle and tang are not permanently sewn in -- they are held in place by a spring bar. A nato band should designed so you don't lose your watch if a single spring pin fails -- this band does not meet that description. I'd deduct half a star for this -- not enough to affect my overall rating. A cool watch for ten bucks! Too early to tell how well it keeps time -- sort of important -- I'll update my review if it does poorly. The works itself feels decent -- not too loose or a lot of slop like some cheapie quartz movements -- so I hope that's a sign of a decently accurate timepiece... ... show more

For a $10 watch: it's not bad considering it's price! The problem is that for a nurse's watch (from CNA perspective) it needs better build quality features. It's band is too large and is awkward once trimmed. It has great readability but without any kind of illumination features, it makes utilization in dark environments not too reliable. It looks decent on hand, but with poor movement and build quality, I'd recommend seeking other options if you were to need a nurse watch. ... show more

When I came across this watch, I was drawn in by the beauty of its design. But when I saw the extremely low price, I was reluctant to order it, because I didn't think the quality would be good. I was so wrong. I don't know if I am more confused as to how such an attractive, well made and functional watch such as this could cost so little, or if I've been paying hundred's of dollars too much for similar name brand watches? The color of the band and the face of the watch are rich and have a premium appearance and feel. The packaging and materials also give off a premium feel. Even though it doesn't have a stainless steel case or a sapphire crystal, the materials used have a durable and substantial feel to them. It doesn't feel cheap. The metal used for the casing has just enough weight to it to feel substantial, yet it feels light on the wrist. You will forget you're wearing a watch. The nylon band is very comfortable on the wrist, as well. I'm not sure what the movement of the watch is, but it keeps time well and functions almost like a mechanical watch. It has an audible, faint ticking sound and the hands move accordingly as if its not a quartz movement, but it is. I love looking at and wearing this watch. If this was sold by Nixon or similar brands, I would be willing to pay hundreds of dollars more, if I didn't know better. ... show more
