The only use for this tool is to stretch the springs that hold the gasket on a front load washing machine so the gasket can be replaced. It does really well at this, and with it: 1. You will be able to trade out your old moldy gross gasket for a fresh clean one. 2. You will save the cost of an appliance tech's service call and fee. 3. It will fill you with a sense of accomplishment and self-pride. 4. You will walk a bit taller, your wife will look at you with a new spark in her eyes, and oh my gosh, is your hairline coming back a bit? 5. You will find ways to work it into conversation with friends and family, like with your 6 year old daughter - "Hey, that Slinky is a giant spring. You know, that's a lot like the spring that I used the Moker Washing Machine Expansion Tool on to change that washing machine gasket." 6. Makes working on washer easy-peasy. This is one of those tools that you dont appreciate until you need it. It easily helped me remove and reinstall the wire and spring that holds the front loading rubber boot on my LG washer. Sturdy and well built. It is worth the minimal price to do the job right!
